did you talk to the admins/mods about the location on where you posted this??Because the announcements section is only used for forum announcements or for relevant info regarding the board itself...
If you got permission from and admin to post it there, let me know and i´ll move the thread back there...meanwhile it´ll stay here.
Don´t get me wrong, publicity is always welcome and we appreciate you mentioned IMT in episode 3 of Mugen TV(i liked the idea about the Beat the "DragonClaw" sprint  :D)
In any case,PM me or and admin(you might ask any of them, specially Excursion who´s been taking care in the forum changes) about it...i hope you understand  :)

Besides,Simon Belmont is a Konami character and wouldn`t fit in the current project, and EOH is not over yet

Japanese "Mugen" = Ifinite

Infinity Mugen Team = Infinity Infinite Team

The "correct" pronouciation matches Spanish, Portugege, general Latin and Japanese pronouciations. I think only English speakers have a problem with pronounciation because of the whack etimology of so much of our language.

Cleared or not, that's not how I pronounce it. I pronounce it "MEW-JEN"

Who says you guys are saying it right? Just because in Japan it's said one way, does not mean it it pronounced the same here. To my knowledge, I did not know Elecbyte was a Japanese company.

You may have a point, let's look into this a little.

1) What would the etemology of Mew-Jen be?

2) Apparently some code in the mugen hack is japanese, this might just because the Win-Mugen Hack that everyone uses was put together by a Japanese user though.

3) Moo-gen (sounds like a-gain) makes sense as the common Japanese word Mugen means infinite, which really is a great description of the engine.

conversley,

1) Electrobyte seems to have been an English speaking entity who is no longer around so the pronounciation will always be in question.

2) Electrobyte themselves didn't even remember what it was supossed tio mean, so no luck there.

3) M.U.G.E.N is an acronym atfter all.

in the end, the word itself is in question, as for me, I'm addicted and stuborn in my old ways.

for me has always been "moo-gen"(a-gain.... but without the"i")
so in esperanto (for being universal) would be pronnounced:
muguen..
contrariously, my native languaje (spanish) tells me i should prennounce "mujen" (moo-hen)

I wouldn't worry too much about pronouncing mugen the Japanese way or any other way, really. Many people may not say mugen correctly, but I find that words of any language are always said differently in other countries. There are many different & interesting ways English words are pronounced in Japan.

Anyways, looking forward to the next episode of Mugen TV  :O*D

I can't really speak on everyone else behalf as to why MugenTV has become the lastest uproar in the community, but from speaking with MugenLord on topic about MugenTv, he's single handedly pioneering the Mugen Revolution. Before this, again strict opinion, Mugen communities tend to segregated against one another, and depending on your affiliation, you become limited to what your community has to offer. It's one of the things that I love about being a part of Infinity, there's are NO walls; no restrictions - the way Mugen was meant to be played.

IDK, i speak again for myself and my shortcomming which brought me here today.

Anyways back on topic, Mugenlord placed a statement in his YouTube Community in reguards to the next installment of MugenTV. I felt like sharing for anyone who wasn't aware that shares the same interest in the program as I do:

Quote from: MugenLord Via YouTube.com
MugenLord: Sorry guys been gone awhile, I have been working double shift at work for the past 2 weeks so the show was slow down a bit but it will be ready May 12th its better to have a waited show for it to be perfect then to have a rush show with a sloppy product.

So stay tuned and sorry again.

Thats good to know.. Now the world can sleep easy..

In my opinion, Japanese is one of the easiest languages to learn because there are so few exceptions to the rules. It's reading ad writing Japanese that causes problems for most.

I can read and write better than I speak, though I like to use hiragana more than kanji.  All of my friends also prefer hiragana, since it's faster.

/:O Er, the hiragana for mu does not represent a cow in Japanese, especially since the writing system of hiragana came way later after kanji was dominently used in Japan. If you mean katakana, then mu is used in conjuntion with the kanji for cow to make certain words, but the hiragana "mu" is different....

Another thing (I should've said this earlier when I 1st saw your post but  :-??), but the word "Igirisu" does not mean "English" in terms of the language spoken. Igirisu refers to Britain or England, and if you refer to the English that is spoken there, it would be Igirisu Eigo (British English). Loosely labeling English as "Igirisu" is incorrect, for American English is different than British English. I should know, for my parents grew up with British English, and taught me and my siblings that along with American English.

That is weird because my professor is also from Japan and has explained that certain hiragana characters sometimes represent sounds.  Mu is a symbol for when looking at it most people think of cow.  I never said that mu means cow, the character was created to look like a cow.  I don't know why this needed to be quoted.

Also I was talking about when saying the country when I mentioned Igirisu.  I didn't want to say English people.

Sorta. It's supposed to be everything related to mugen, from news and current topics within the community, tutorials, and vids showcasing characters and stages ranging from old (rare) and new. It's really up to the Mugen Lord on how he wants to represent things for each show.

Subject: Sorry for the delay again!

Sorry for the delay of Mugen TV Episode 3 again, finally had the free time to upload it and found out its too big for youtube to hold it because of the Length and MB so it will have to be cut into 3 parts for me to upload it and since I have double shift this whole week at work it will be up next week for sure! Bare with me because MugenLord is experience a thing called Adulthood so free time isn't available to me like it use to be but I havent forgot you guys.

I think it's going to be the real deal this time around. Youtube can pretty  ~X( when trying to upload sometimes..

Yeah.. ML did a good job... the only thing I would suggest to him is to stick to one sound level... I had to keep turning my speaker volume up and down most of the time, because his sound kept going up and down....

Other than that, it was really good. Can't wait for Episode 4.
