Title: Anyone else having SSBB WiFi Connection problems??
Post by: CAPTAIN OBVIOUS!! LVL 16!! on March 16, 2008, 01:01:37 AM: I try to play online on Brawl but I just keep getting either and "Error" Message or "You have been disconnected" Message.

I had a chance to play literally a 2 second fight then It stops and tells me "Error"

Anyone else having a problem. I wanna brawl with you "Infinity Homies!!"!!! :'(

As for the connection problems, they only happen if the people you are trying to brawl are far away. The connection is bad if this happens.

It's probably from the server overloading.
I mean, there is a ton of people that own a wii and SSBB.

Also doesn't hurt to stick mainly with friend fights.

@DMK: No wonder, I tried the "Fight anyone" option first.

@ VMK: I heard about the Server overloading from Gamestop employees too.

@ TrunkJunky: So If I gave my Friend from Japan my Friend code, the connection might be very laggy?

I get lag during the character intros, but then it plays fine. Occasionally I get a button delay, when my buttons don't respond untill 2 seconds AFTER I press them. Like a couple of online matches ago >_<

That always happens to me at the worst times, like when there's a smash ball around, and I'll be like MOVE DAMMIT! lol.

Post by: BigJ on March 16, 2008, 02:27:30 AM: I had to update my router. Now, most of my matches are lag free and I haven't seen an error code since. I even played Zero, who's in California and I got no lag. Cali to NY is a long butt distance lol.
