They can't put K9999 due to legal issues. *shrugs* I read on the KOF Anniverary site that Raiden was supposed to be in 03 but got replaced by Tizoc. Maybe they'll be on a team this year with someone, lol. If they put EVERYONE then the roster would be HUGE!

I'm not much of a KOF fan, but these 2D graphics are very nice indeed and this is how SF4 should have looked. I might end up liking this much more than SF4...I'll take sprites over polygons any day. Let's just hope the gameplay is as good as the graphics...because if it's all pretty graphics with no meat on the bones then it doesn't matter how good it looks. Balance is also key, though I would like to see a lot of characters, but a game risks becoming very unbalanced with too many characters. Need to keep an eye on this game.
KOFXI had great gameplay, so ,unless they scrap the gameplay system and make something new, this game should be just as good.
@Gore Whore: I wish, lol. Even though some good 2D fighting games are coming out this year, the mainstream media probably will whore all over the 3D ones like Tekken, Soul Calibur, and SF4. I'm not saying 3D fighters are bad, I'm just saying that nowadays people don't seem to like 2D fighters as much as they used to. DAMN THOSE FIRST PERSON SHOOTERS!!! >_<

Horrible! The sprites still don't impress me and the animation is nothing like Capcom's, I hope this isn't for the next gen consoles 'couse it sure doesn't have that look, I guess it would have been kool to have this on the PS2 back in the day... (:|

On topic: Someone posted that vid a while back. It's probably a really early build, since no super meters are present, just life bars. The graphics look really nice though. They weren't kidding when they said KOF was getting a graphic overhaul, lol. I'm glad it's not 3D though. A lot of the characters wouldn't look right. Like Iori in the KOF:MI series. His hair is too "flock of seagulls"ish.
Took them long enough on them sprites! I know Capcom abused the SF Alpha sprites, but it's nothing when you compare that to SNK!

uh no they werent dude u need to get off of capcoms dik i mean sf2 hd graphics are just big and bulky those look like u are playing wit sprites that came straight off of the kof another day anime were u looking at the beggining of the video and then cut it off because u must of not seen those sprites they are amazing.

Yes, I'll play a SF game in a heartbeat over KOF nowadays (that may end once KOFXII comes out, which I have to play ;D), but I'll always give SNK their props because KOF still will look better. Just my 2 cents on the graphics bit. Now, to read up on the new gameplay that's gonna be implemented in KOF XII ;)

The SFIIHD sprites look like crap, the characters barely look like they should in some cases, CVS2 sprites were the best looking versions of all characters.

Ummm... the reason I don't like KOF or SNK for that mater, is just becouse of a little rivalry I have with my cousen, he's a huge SNK fan and I'm a huge Capcom fan, you should see us play Capcom Vs. Snk 2! It's like world war II all over! LOL! But yeah, It's not that the sprites are bad, it's just that I think capcom's work is way better, and I reapeat! It's all my OPINION! I heard that the tagging system from KOFXI isn't going to be in this game though. I hope thats just a rumor. Theirs also rumors saying Andy, Raiden, and Billy (from Double Dragon) will be in. I don't believe it, cause SNK has a TON of characters, I don't see why they'd pay to get the license to put Billy in.
