My parents have been Divorced since i was five years old which was 15 years ago.

Mine are.
MY father abondond us when I was 10. (very complacated and long story)
We eventualy found him, mom tryed to work things out with him, but it didnt work out.
My father had just gone totaly off the deep end with drugs and haning out in the middle of no were totaly off the grid.
We left and he went missing again, my mom filed for divorce and it went though without him having to sign due to him being a missing person.
I got a message though myspace once eventualy, apprently he's got a new girlfriend or something and they were trying to start a band. My father is a total freaking peter pan, he refuses to grow up.
Im 24 now and i hope i never do that to my childern (when i eventualy have them)

Well...that´s a prett sad story Spidermew...at least your mom would be able to make a fresh start as she´s officially divorced...

  my parents luckily have stayed together since i was born(21 years ago...a bit more maybe...).
Sometimes they actually argue for very stupid things,but it´s not a big deal at all...

But I do get to see my dad every other weekend.

So 3/14 of the time I'm with my dad, I guess that's good.

But I really don't understand why...

He's an amazing person.

Or maby he decided to change after the divorce, I dunno, I don't remember him as a kid.

Mine divorced when I was two. They're still good firends though. Like when my dad visited (he lives in NC and i'm here in TN) a couple time a couple of years ago, he'd stay here at the house and my mom didn't care. I love how my family gets along.

I hate who my mom married after my dad. He was such a b!tch. I'd beat his @$$ if I could, but I ain't seen him since I was around 10 or so. My dad told me he saw him a couple of weeks ago in a store and he just wanted to beat his @$$ for the ish he did.

Mine got divorced a few months ago, after being together for 19 years. The reason was my mum had an affair with another woman, so as you can guess life at home hasn't been so great recently (thank God I moved out for Uni). It also didn't help that my mum lived at home all the time this was going on (we found out Boxing Day 2006) , and she only moved out on Wednesday.

But my parents have been "unofficially" divorced for about 10 years (I was ten so, yeah ten years).
I say unoffical because they never filed for the papers. Its been nothing but fights between them ever since.(seriously, they fight every day.)
But I don't think of it much.I'll leave it as that as its very complicated

My parents divorced when I was just a little baby and I never met my father, he flat out disappeared and I don't know what happend to him. My mom never remarried or got involved with anyone after they divorced. My mom has been my only family untill she passed away a couple years ago from cancer. I heard stories about my dad from my mom and he wasn't a very good person, but my mom was the best mother I could ever ask for and was always there for me.....I truly miss her very much

My parents have been "unofficially" divorced for a little over a year now. They don't fight or anything though anymore. It doesn't really bother me much. I dunno bout the "Friends are Gods way of apologizing for parents.", cause my friends aren't that great......... during the summer there was countless days where my friends hung out with out inviting me, and my school friends don't live near me at all.
