Yes. Thor is a Thunder God. Although a Messiah is the embodiment of God. Which is basically like Jesus. When he was talking about his predecessor from 2000 years ago he was referring to Jesus. 
Raiden from MK is pretty much another Thor. Instead of a hammer though he uses a bo staff which is pretty much a lightning rod.
Although with GIll there is a few other references to Jesus, during gameplay his resurrection hyper is supposed to resemble Jesus' resurrection from the dead, and his posture is to resemble when he got crucified.

If M.bison beat Gill then I know A LOT of Marvel characters will.Venom and Carnage will destroy.There's only one way to kill the symbiote and thats by loud noise.Gill wouldnt even have a chance to even access loud noise cuz Carnage would defeat him with no problem.You seen how many people spider man needed on his side to defeat carnage.He had to make a truce with one of his old enemies(Venom) just so he can defeat him.

Another thing M Bison beat Gill so Carnage would wipe the floor with him.I also think the Phoenix(Jean Grey) will take him out with no problem.

capcom didnt make magneto nearly as strong as he really is hes like 10 times stronger than da one on da capcom games
