I wanna Download that codec so that I can play avi video files. is it trustable.

Yep...been using DivX for some years now...never a problem. Actually, I thank God for DivX!  ^:)^

Yep, I always watch my Anime, (which are avi format), in my Windows Media Player...but I had to get the DivX codecs before they worked.

yea divx is a fairly decent video player. there isnt anything bad from them. (cept maybe the early versions of the player)

yea I have had divx for quite sometime and it has never had any problems unless it needed to be updated

I use vlc to watch, but usually only use the divx CODEC which is what's required to view .avi, .divx & .xvid files. I have 2 DVD players from Wal-Mart that are Divx certified!
