Swine Flu Outbreak

Heh like I said ive been sick since about 3-4 days before this thing started and im still sick. But I have not ran a fever to date and the first 2 signs I get when im sick every year twice a year is, 1st 1 whole day from the time I wake up to about 1:00 am I have a sore throat which increases in pain as the day progresses and as soon as the clock strokes about 12:00 am to 1:00 am I start getting a fever. That is how it has been for the last 5 years straight. Well this time The first sign happened without the second. So now ive got just a headache which comes back throughout each day, congestion, coughing (way more then my usual with smoking) sneezing(about 5 times usually in under an hour, and slight breathing issues.

I have yet to develop a fever. But my damn symptoms have not gone away besides the sore throat. Its really irritating me but I don't wanna go to the doctor unless I really need to because my dad and step-mom don't believe in a doctor for colds/Flu unless im basically about to die.

But I think tomorrow since my dad and step-mom are going to visit my sis im gonna get my mom(as I don't have a driver's license yet) to take me to a walk in clinic or something. So I can get to the bottom of this illness. I don't have the best immune system thanks in part to smoking but I never have stayed sick for more then 4-5 days unless it was like Toncilitus or something of that nature. So im getting worried.

It looks like Chicago has 2 confirmed cases of this, and I live in Chicago . I've been through the flu once already, the last thing I need now. . .is to get sick again or worse. Man, I hope they come up with the vaccine before this Fall or nobody will be around this Fall in order to take it . This worries me.

Great that's what I need the chi-area getting this friggin' disease! I'm washing my hands a lot more often.

about the flu, in mexico the most worried people are the adults (im younger) i know that because my mother cried so much the day my little brother jose died (im not liying, this is so terrible sadly, i always wanted to watch my brother growing up, he was 12 years old, i couldnt see him for the last time, because he died in the hospital... my father told me the last monday that he was dead,  seriously i dont want that anybody suffers the way i did because you guys dont know how does loosing somebody feels ), so she tell me that i must be carefull in almost everything, even something as insignificant as money (i mean all those people that touched your 20 dollars or something) something i dont understand its why does the people who works with pigs didnt have the flu, (at least here in mexico) and other fact i want to share its that please be carefull and keep informated, watch the news, see the doctor, etc.
