For now, if you are in an area where infections have been reported the best thing to do is to keep your hands clean and limit physical contact with other people. Using hand sanitizers and similar things is also a good idea. If you start feeling sick, stay home and rest. Most people who've caught this have recovered, as long as they take care of themselves.

Thnx for the clarification mate........but if you are from Mexico or an area that the swine has been reported, you shall go to the doctor immediatly, if you get your medicine in time you will get better faster, these is not a dease that will kill you, but it can (at these moment there has 150 deads in Mexico city)

Im pissed @ the fact that these people are leaving Mexico bringing this crap in the U.S. Stay your dumb a$$es in the infected country and dont bring that crap here.

Here's a brief explanation about Phase 6:

"PHASE 6:

The virus causes sustained community-level outbreaks in more than one region

"Designation of this phase will indicate that a global pandemic is under way." "

"According to the World Health Organization (WHO), a pandemic can start when three conditions have been met:[1]

-Emergence of a disease new to a population.
-Agents infect humans, causing serious illness.
-Agents spread easily and sustainably among humans

A disease or condition is not a pandemic merely because it is widespread or kills many people; it must also be infectious. For instance, cancer is responsible for many deaths but is not considered a pandemic, because the disease is not infectious or contagious."

Although Level 5 & Level 6 are considered Pandemic stages, apparently they're not using the term atm. Maybe if the World Health Association deems the current situation with swine flue to be Level 6, that's when they're use the term. If we do go into a level 6, then probably what it'll mean is that more businesses and schools will be closed down, and maybe it'll be madatory for everyone to stay indoors, most preferably at home.

Why do I have to be ignorant? Dont fault me or my words. Im just a little scared and concerned at the fact that the symptoms are just like normal colds and viruses that be have gotten. After watching the news and videos, I have just been a little disturbed. Sorry If I sounded so dumb or "ignorant". Im just a little worried about my family that I have in New Jersey and Maryland.

Yeah, they handed out letters today to all of the schools in the district I go to and I believe one kid that goes to my school actually got the sickness so now the custodians are going to clean all the rooms a lot more after every school day and on the weekends.

You guys are probably gonna get PO'd when I say this but there has been confirmation on the news that has 5 sources/ingrediants/originations. 1)birds flu 2) Pigs 3) Humans 4)Unknown 5) unknown

Now I am not the greatest person in the world when it comes to science but that tells me right there that it is a man made virus. Reasons behind this, Look at the mass difference in the 3 species listed.  Birds have different DNA to humans and so do Pigs. Plus there are 2 unknown sources involved. Just by seeing the 3 species involved Pigs,Birds,Humans + an additional 2 UNKNOWN that tells me that virus was made by some terrorist or some other human. I  will look into this to support my theory but I don't think any virus known to man today before Swin Flu has ever came from 3 Totally different Sources of animals/insects/fish what have it. So that is a huge flag saying Im man made.

Now correct me if im wrong but I don't think that is possible without human interference. Ill look up some info on the difference in the DNA between Humans, Pigs, Birds. But its probably gonna support my theory.

Thoughts/Flames/Cussing at me on this subject???!?

EDIT: Well I should not say mass difference but im sure there is a considerable difference.

Well this must be a different strain, because(don't quote me on it as it was about 11:00 at night) they said on the news that there will not be a fully developed vaccine till this fall. Meaning that if supposdely like this Vid there was swine flu or a reason to believe it might come around and they made a vaccine then we should still have it in a lab somewhere on this earth.

So either that vid is a crock of crap or its a different strain.

Seriously. The first sign I get showing I have a fever my butt is going to the nearest clinic that does not have 20+ people wandering the same thing I am.

Ive been sick since about 2-3 days before this Swine flu was even mentioned. I show all but 2 signs of the infection. High fever and fatigue. So im hoping to god its just me getting a cold or my sinus's acting up really bad. Im seriously thinking about getting one of those hospital masks if there are more then 2 more confirmed cases in virginia. Ill take the chance of being called an idiot or any other name in the book if it helps to keep me from getting this crap. Ill take a few weeks more of name calling. I got used to it since ive been called every name in the book all through out school.

Is ironic cause i was also sick before they mentioned the flu. I feel fine now. I'm 100%.

I personally think that even if you are sneezing, you should be carefull that you don't have it.
