Yo peeps just got back from a full 10 hours of GED testing. I have gotten 4 out 5 test results back and so far it seems I will pass with flying colors. I just have to wait on the Writing portion of the test. So if I pass that im as good as golden!!

Yeah that test is long as hell. From 7am to 5pm.

Yea you said it ice. I actually got out at about 4:50 PM tho. I fly through most tests in half the time they give you. Only part I took almost the full duration was the math test. Science took me like 20 minutes for 50-40 questions and it was my top score. But im still waiting on my Writing part before I can actually say I passed. Till then im freaking out wondering what my score is.

Lol im bout to do mah GED tests in a couple of weeks. Though i have done all of my practice geds witch they say is just like the real one. And i got way more then 500 on all of the tests. well i may just pass but im still kinda nervous..

Since you passed the others... and if you're writing is as good as you think it is... then there should be another passed grade somewhere..

Can you tell me how the GED test is? I'm thinking about going for one, but I don't really know because I'm not that smart. I couldn't get through the GED prep classes because my attention span is pretty short. I'm thinking about going back to adult ed to get a high school diploma this year.

I can't even get a job at Burger King without a diploma which is ridiculous because I had a job there when I was 17, and I quit because I got paranoid and thought I was going to get fired. I'm not even going to risk buying one of those stupid fake diploma's online.

Yeah I took the GED. Test was easy as pie to me. I dropped out of high school cause I hated everyone there, but like a month after that I took the GED and it took me about a month to do it cause I already knew the material. The was just super long. I scored high on the test that I got a scholarship to the college and the rest is history. I think people should stop downgrading GED. If they knew how easy and quick it is you dont have to worry about the last few years of high school... Thats if your a smart person. LIKE ME!!!

I took a GED test to...I wouldnt say it was easy as pie...I say you will need to be prepared for it if you want to pass it....Some stuff on there will be really basic but some stuff will be hard as hell...no lie...I say the science and social studies will be the hardest so if you do go make sure you brush up on those two

Only test I had problems with was the math. Im really good at math but it was just really confusing on about 5-50 questions. But the GED is actually tougher then everyone says. Just take a month or 2 and pay for a class at a highschool specifically tailored to the GED and you will be fine. Thats what I did. If you have a really good teacher he/she will not limit when you decide you want to take the test. I got my whole test paid for because I spent 3 months going Monday and wed. from 6:30 PM - 8:30 PM to my local Highschool and studied for the GED.

Being I dont know you and a GED really isnt a big thing I have to congradulate you. There are some worthless ppl in this world that wont even put forth the effort to make the same decision you have. Now the question is what are you going to do with that? Dont be one of the looser ppl that think its enough because its truely not as far as your pay grade. Granted you dont have a HS diploma but there are colleges that accept GEDs.

Nah man I dont take that to offense at all. But im heading off to college as soon as I actually get the final word if I passed. Im still waiting on one final test to be graded. But actually the GED is really well respected in the US, almost like a HS diploma. I think my examinors said that 95% of jobs accept the GED and like 75%-90% of all colleges in the US will accept the GED aswell. So that means

of jobs/colleges accept the GED. But im actually thinking about going into the military to get my college paid for. Reason being is that my grandfather has run into really bad debt problems and im really afraid he will not be able to help me with college. So right now im really thinking about joining the military and going through training/basic service and college.

Well A GED is basically a diploma without the paper. Just about every college excepts GED's i havent heard of one college that didnt to tell u the truth...

just got my final score today! I passed it!!!!

Most state College's accept GED's but you'll find that many Private Colleges wont accept a GED. Private schools, you have to earn your way into. A State School is still a really good education though.

Yea ive got

to think about over the next 2-3 weeks. Ive got 3 options in mind for how to begin looking for college. One being to go into the military. So im taking 2-3 weeks to weigh all the pros and cons of each of my options then Ill make a move.
