I'll pass. The first AVP was watchable, but not much more. And AVP2 isn't changing my mind.

I already saw a trailer on youtube, I'm a huge AVP fan, but I have mixed feelings about this one. On one hand the movie looks to be more violent and more action, which is a good thing. Now on the other hand it's still being based within our time line and on earth again!

......what I want to see is a movie adaptation of the very first comic book series or the first novel * their the same story, but the novel went into more detail * I would prefer if they take it back into space in the future, where the whole alien and predator thing needs to go. I personally just don't like the direction they are taking this movie and the series......the comic books are soooooo much better and so are the novels, which have a rich story and really grip you. Don't get me wrong however, I'm sure I'll enjoy it for what it is and I do like the fact that it's more action and intense this time around....I just wish the people who make these films do more research on the origins of these characters, like reading the novels and comics thoroughly or actually play the games if they are making a movie adaptation * hopes Castlevania doesn't turn into a pile of dog poo * Anyway I'm done with this rant...just had to put in my two cents

I hated how there was no action in AVP and all that damn talking. Now we'll get to see the hybrid and possibly all the other Predators!

I love this stuff. Ive always been a fan of HR GIGER and have a lot of his works on my laptop.

This looks WAY better than the first one. Sure it's not gonna be the most intellectual film of our generation, but as a pointless action movie, I'm all over it!

Dark Gargos summed up all my feelings on this one. The action looks much better, but the story doesn't.

nice stuff

Off topic: I also ready Bat-man vs Predator comic series
all in all it really should to try take it back to the roots of the concept...
but...we'll just have to wait and see now wont we all?
