Smallville Thurdsay 11/20/08 DOOMSDAY ARRIVES!

Um... Season 8's going to be the last season... the writers have already stated it. So... this is definitely gonna be a kick @$$ season, though... being the last and all...

I've also read rumors on the web, that right after Smallville they're going to do a new series of Superman movies. (No word if Tom Welling's gonna play Superman, in the movies, or not.... Probably going to be the same guy who was in Superman Returns... )

Actually theres been a lot of talk of reconsideration. I think the network thought without Schneider, Kruek, and Rossenbaum the show would suffer. Now that its proving successful without them theres a lot of rumors going on that as long as it makes money they may want to keep going.

Well... the rumors might've changed... the rumors that I was talking about were from September... so... they might've changed their minds... Well... everyone was signed on for 7-8 seasons in the beginning... but no more than that... So... it does depend on the cast members... I'm pretty sure Tom Welling and Allison Mack will sign on for another... not sure if anyone else will... maybe even the guy who plays Green Arrow will come back for a 9th season... still... I'm pretty satisfied with 8 seasons... why go on really...

Since it seems that they already have a mind for it, I say why not, after this last season of Smallville, do an EARLY JLA or just plain Justice League show with Tom still as Supes when the team REALLY first formed. It would give them a reason to FINALLY do a current TV series version of Bruce Wayne/Batman as he has NOT made an appearance YET (albeit many a rumor for his appearance MANY a times throughout the shows lifespan)...I too LOVE Smallville (even though I am NOT a Supes fan by any means...though I guess that's not ENTIRELY true since I love Smallville, huh?) and I was sad to hear that this was the last season. But the rumors I've heard are that they are supposed to be doing a GA (Green Arrow in case you don't get it) series after Smallville...though this is most likely a rumor and nothing more...

I think you're thinking about 'The Graysons' and not Green Arrow.... Speaking of 'The Graysons' .... the people who were going to make it decided to scrap the idea... so... good ridance... I hope they don't make a show about Green Arrow... we basically know most of his story already... They should make a show about Green Lantern... or Wonder Woman... making their next show WAY more interesting... somehow... idk who else to think of... Batman as a teen wouldn't be good... because he didn't learn his tactics & etc. till he was an adult... so... yeah...

On topic:

Some positive notes about this episode... I ACTUALLY SAW DOOMSDAY IN ACTION! (sort of). It was a great episode... the only thing I don't understand is the part at the end where Chloe's smiling... just don't get it.... I hope this doesn't mean the end of Chloe.... Clark YOU BETTER FIND A WAY TO DEFEAT HIM!

yeah i saw the episode aswell, i think it was a pretty good episode, the ending was a bit odd, i guess well find out what that was about later on in the season

The cloverfield concept was kinda cool, but other than the face we couldnt see DD very clearly. Considering next weeks trailer showed LEGION members in costume, I gotta assume we'll get a better look at DD.
