I'm going to watch it, but I'm really not a fan of Smallville, I just want to see how the fight between Doomsday and Clark ends. Although I would think Doomsday would have the upper advantage because he killed adult Clark in the comics.

I think this will probably be the first time I'll ever say this.. OMFG.!!! Dude, Doomsday killed Superman-Superman, not some pre version of Superman, and along the way more then destroyed a few other heroes (I'm sure we all remember Blue Beetle's incident with the car). This is just insane to put Doomsday in at this point (though he looks incredible!). If he doesn't annihilate Clark, I will be really disappointed.. Or at the very least let us see like two to three episodes of the Justice League trying to take him down. I do hope they keep him as a silent killing machine, he doesn't need to talk at all to get his point across.

Damn, though, this is truly amazing, and though I haven't kept up with it for a long while, I will not be missing this episode.

The only way Clark can beat Doomsday is if he uses everything he has. I remember there was an episode of Justice League where in an alt dimension, Superman defeated Doomsday by using his heat vision at full force.

Yea, but that's adult Superman, not barely out of his teens Clark. It's shown in the Kingdom Come comics that Supes actually got more powerful along the way as he got older, absorbing more of the sun, to the point where Kryptonite or magic couldn't really harm him anymore. So, unless they fight on the actual sun, I don't see Clark standing a chance in hell.

I think when you watch this you gotta watch it as the Smallville version of DD. Smallville is its own Earth, its not meant to follow the continuity of Superman in the Comics, JLU, or the Superman/Doomsday Movie.

This DD actually has some emotions and weaknesses that will be his undoing. He obviously beats clark bad enough, that he can stand there and stare Chloey in the face without getting jacked.

Anything negative you could say about Smallville could just as easily be said about the Spiderman Movies as well.

And neither of those storylines you mentioned are from the Comics. Doomsday is indeed a kryptonian genetic experiment. Other than the Zod part Smallville is probably the closest to the origin so far.

. Why? The show would just get canned from Kristin's horrible acting.

She was ok in the first 2 seasons, but afterwards she just kept getting cornier and cornier.

I hope Summer Glau won't be like that if there's a season 3 of Terminator.

Yeah, dang straight. I've been keeping up with the show and it rather interesting to see how they been able to spin Superman's early years into something more than "OMGactionfightbreakstuffplosionfest", but not suck like Superman Returns.

I'm really looking forward to this coming episode! BIG FAN of Smallville! (Just hated Lana's guts, because of all of the boring @$$ drama... ) ...... um.... well... if you've been watching this season of Smallville, at least... then you'll know about Davis (a.k.a. Doomsday) .... last episode was about Brainiac taking control over Chloe's mind... replacing memories with the Kryptonian symbol of Doom (der Doomsday) ... You know... I really thought Clark was the dumbest man in that show in the last episode, because all Chloe could remember at the end was Davis... barely even Clark... (hint for the doom part maybe?? der der...) ....... Anyways... yeah... Davis loves Chloe... and he's all po'ed because he thinks she's marrying the wrong man, and this obviously leads to this coming episode with Doomsday... I guess he learns how to transform into Doomsday or something... but... I'm sure he'll get pissed in the beginning of the episode... then in the middle he'll appear as Doomsday, and try to kidnap Chloe... blah blah... Gonna be a kick @$$ episode, especially with the appearance of Doomsday in it... Don't know if Clark's going to actually have a battle with the beast or not... that might be the only disappointing thing... We'll see what happens....

YEAH!!

Season 7 is my favorite so far mostly becasue of Laura Vandervoort as Supergirl! She was - Wow!

But my Fave episode is Justice. When the Smallville version of the Justice League enters the fray!

Um... Season 8's going to be the last season... the writers have already stated it. So... this is definitely gonna be a kick @$$ season, though... being the last and all...

I've also read rumors on the web, that right after Smallville they're going to do a new series of Superman movies. (No word if Tom Welling's gonna play Superman, in the movies, or not.... Probably going to be the same guy who was in Superman Returns... )
