Has anyone ever played it? It's one of the best NES games ever and it's a sleeper. Samus wasn't the only bad butt heroine on the NES.

And The Guardian Legend is a mix between this game and the Legend of Zelda games. You're running around on a planet collecting weapons, building levels, finding keys to corridors, pretty much like a dungeon crawler, and when you enter a corridor, she transforms into a ship and it becomes a shooter, and the cool thing is the weapons you find while on the planet, you get to use in the corridors while you're in ship form. You get all kinds of weapons like huge fireballs, beam sword and such. Great game(s)
