The DS does have some very enjoyable games, though. The PSP.. never really interested me in comparison.

Actually the DS does have plenty of mature games.
You just got to ignore all the games pushed out by Nintendo and look more at 3rd party games.

Another thing I like about the DS, now that you mention it, is the design. It's so compact, and feels like a mini laptop. I feel safe carrying it around.. since it folds in on itself, I feel like I'm less likley to crack the screen or something   

Another funny thing is, the creator of that strip actually enjoys the DS too (But, I suppose couldn't ignore the obvious pun he could play on here).There's another VG Cats strip where the PSP feels sad and lonley because he never plays it, in favor of the DS.:

I don't know why people say that Nintendo systems are immature because they get a lot of love from the Resident Evil series. Eternal Darkness for the gamecube had to be one of the most mentally demanding video games I've ever played.
Also here's a game for the wii with major gore.

It's funny how the USA version is uncensored and other countries is censored (the gore factor I mean).

Also Red Steel for the wii was pretty mature, all it needed was blood and it would have been pretty mature. I can't help think there won't be a Red Steel 2 because of the criticisms, but if they managed to not have glitches with the remote, I could imagine it being a killer app. 
Ubisoft confirmed Red Steel 2.... Yay.

i was talking in general, explaining how Nintendo "main" audience were young kids
(and their parents in the case of wii) and that Sony's "main" audience are 18+
thus the majority of their games is oriented towards that

but yeah Nintendo had Eternal Darlness (which i think was awesome) and Sony
had stuff like Crash Bandicoot (which is also great)

Processing Power
This one is obviously in the PSP's favor. While the Nintendo DS has a very capable 3D chip, able to render the likes of Super Mario 64, it's no contest that the PSP has more raw power than the DS. Even the launch games (which didn't exactly have a ton of time to be developed) approach the graphical abilities of the PlayStation 2. Comparing a PS2 to the N64 is like night and day, and that's pretty much the same comparison that can be made here. Really, this one is no contest.

also, even though the PSP has better graphics..just better graphics do not a good game make..besides..good games seem to come out for it about once a year..in between those games, it seems the unit is only good for playing emulators on it, after you hack it
