I would imagine that if Guile were real, he would sound like he does in the english dub of the SF2 movie. I mean Guile has freaking American flags on his arms for christ sakes. .

Despite how legit the article looks I doubt some of its validity. It did come from Vann Damm mouth, and 2nd this could have been in an early draft. Hell Nick Cage was the 1st pick for Superman.

The plot is Kristen Kruek of Smallville playing Chun-Li, and the movie is centered around her. If they indeed wanted to use a severely aged Vann Dam it would have more than likely been a small part in the flick as a nod to the origional.

Very much so. I was very disturbed when I saw so many of the mistakes in the SF movie.

- Ryu + Ken = Hustlers?
- Guile [American] = Van Damme [NOT American]
- Balrog = Good Guy?
- Dee Jay = Bad Guy?
- Dhalsim = Scientist/Doctor?

Not to mention the little "Special Move" Jamboree that happened at the end.

- Ryu's Hadouken = Flash of Light
- Ken's Shoryyuken = Uppercut
- Honda's Thousand Hand Slap = Honda's One Handed Slap

In conclusion that movie sucked.

Kristen used to be a good actress. but her acting turned to crap after the last few seasons of Smallville. Also, she's a stick figure. If you look at Chun-Li, she's built. Not like BUILT BUILT, but way more built than Kristen. Also, Kristen looks white. If you look at Chun-Li's select portrait in SF2.... SHE DOESN'T LOOK WHITE AT ALL!
For Guile... Well. There are a lot of nameless people that could do waaaaaaaaaaaay better than Van Damme. The problem with big name films is they look for big name actors, and usually, none of these actors resemble the characters they play. Like the actors and actresses in Terminator Sarah Chronicles. I've never heard of them before, but they do good jobs on the characters they play.
