I don't like some of the sprites, namely ralf and athena.

it's cool that they brought back the original Ryo and Robert though.

I like how they used the Robert and Ryo AOF stlye, but I really love how Ralph and Athena looks. Ralph is a grappler so he should be huge and it's about time Athena started eating. She was so skinny before, like she was cracked out. Now she's nice and thick like i like em

I like my women kinda thick too Toph, but why Ralph and Terry look like ascended Saiyans? Especially Ralph

!! But I see Iori finally got some new clothes and Raiden is a nice addition to the kof roster. For me as a follower of the series since kof 94, I just wish the roster should now be of mvc-like porportions. But I hope a test unit drops in nyc soon!!

Ralph is on the juice, the dude is bigger than Alex. I likes it. The reason why the roster is small is because it takes forever to draw all of those sprites.

my problem with athena is her face mostly.

also, ralf's belt throws his whole design off. He goes from looking big and powerful to looking fat and bulky.

I don't like what they did with my man Ralf...i do like the new look that they gave Leona...
Athena looks no different than in other games imo,except she's not that skinny as before
Terry looks too bulky for my taste...Andy is ok and he even has a travelling fireball like old times
On a side note:
THIS GAME DOESN'T HAVE STORYLINE!!!Now everything makes sense!
The old look for some characters...
We can officially call it KOF HD instead of XII...also,there's apparently a remake of Kof 2002 planned to be made,with a new Kyo Clone and a whooping total of 66 characters available

AND NOW I'M COMPLETELY SHOCKED!
FLAMELESS IORI?? Playmore really screwed Iori big time...Awful outfit+no flames=FAIL!

Screw the storyline thingy,if they gave terry and robert older looks,why did they have to change Iori in this game?

i believe he did lost them,but the problem is that this game is nothing,storywise related...it's like another kof 98/02

guess we will have to wait till Kof XIII to see Crimson as a boss and getting killed

Well, is this the final cut of the game? Cause I'm wondering now if this will be the FIRST KoF to NOT have a combo counter and Super meter...everything within me keeps telling me this is STILL only the test versions as the roster is REALLY small (and KoF has been known to shoot itself in the foot over it's roster before while disappointing its fans and then coming back to redeem itself with the next installment...i.e. my boy Duck King FINALLY making it into a KOF as a playable in KOFXI...) and while I have to say that they made the animations REALLY accurate to how things happen in actual fights it seems, somethings still feel a little off to me. I just can't put my finger on what it is though...

Does anyone know if the kof 98 ultimate and new version of 2k2 as well as samurai showdown anthology will come to the us ps2?

it's only looking to be about 20 characters. It takes them a long time to draw these sprites
