BTW I also have all of Duo's Rockman 8 voices, and Battle & Chase. I could go and rip the Power Fighters later.

I got a suggestion from Gate on the Scruffy board with his suggestion for Duo, this is open source. I think this Duo is too big, but I do like how he made Duo's boots and it is very nicely detailed. The main bases are arm and torso of Tron Bonne then enlarged Megaman parts.

I resprited his Rockman 8 Version, with the Power Fighters palette:That looks just like him in the game. I like that one the best overall due to the accuracy of the sprite.

Actually did this yesterday. Someone mentioned it doesn't look MvC enough, so might need some work on that and have his body be rounder at the bottom. Aside from that, am pretty happy with it.

I think the best thing about him is, he only really needs three punches/kicks (tossing his weight around?) for his basics as he wouldn't have a crouch or jump. Would also mostly eliminate his jump anims and a good amount of his get hits. Would definitely make the work load much much lighter but would be a little more difficult to work on then the more humanoid looking Robot Masters.
That's a cool edit, unfortunately it doesn't fit with the game though. I would like to see how Astroman would look with the conversion.
In the future once Duo sprite sheet is completed I can always runthrough the sheet and change his legs and add some extra stuff and update sprites that might need touch up work. I will also in the future start to add Duo's sprites to the project template once it is ready for some nice screen shots. :thumbsup:

Haven't worked on him in quite awhile. Been buy with other wips. LynxDarkwood is mostly working on Duo, he is working on him again. If Duo isn't done after I make Woodman, and "Not Announced Wip", I will finish him off after that. :)

We got it, you're not doing R-Shadow, that doesn't mean no one else can.
Ok. Rage I make a deal deal with you. When your done with Quint and Axl... WE Should team up and do Rockman Shadow as and alternate for Quint. Like holding done start when you select Quint turns him into R-Shadow. Lke Zelda to Shiek in Super Smash Bro.

Yeah I had to edit all the sprites because Fighter Factory doesn't like the color black, so Duo is drawn with a Dark grey which is annoying. I don't know if everyone want me to just finish doing all the sprites? every set after 12 needs to be done. I'm having difficulty with the throwing sets. and I'm trying to convince myself not to give up on the Dr. light version and work on the original version.
I won't focus on his story until he is closer to being released. With the way things are going now probably won't be until after the release of Axl and maybe even Quint. I hope I'm not bothering any one with my slow work ethics.

It's too late now I did a cram session last night and I completely recolored the sprite sheet. The only ones I have left are the air punches and Kicks but I want to redo them so the are more animated.

I think he could use hyper like Spider man's Maximum Spider though no web of course :) and Duo should glow blue. Kinda like in intro of mm8.

On Page 3 Laspacho Posted Duo's Win pose as a Gif. His Hand is glowing pink, and he is opening and closing it. I need it as Sprites/Frames. I would do it myself, but I don't know how.

Photoshop CS5 now makes each frame in layer(I dunno if in CS4 it was same way or as it was before, only first frame) also you may use Ulead GIF Animator and just copy/paste frames. Hope that helped %%-

When Duo runs past someone he turns to face them. I don't know if this was a feature decided upon by the forum (seeing as this is a community WIP) or if its a coding problem. It feels/looks weird. That's my only thing since it is still in Beta, and the Read Me addresses the projectile and powers being limited to the Light Punch and Kick buttons.

I would call it more of a sprite/soundswap of the template. I did something similier with my onomatopoiea Character, It's more so to test how the character looks in game then anything.

Haven't made an edit of something for MUGEN for a little while, so I decided, why not. All I did really was edit some time issues that made some of the animations a bit slow, like the stance, etc. Otherwise, not bad so far for Duo. :thumbsup:

And about size - don't. He is taller than MM, but he's shorter then Air Man and Quick Man.
Shadow Man is tiny bit taller then him and he should be as tall as Shade Man(not counting wings).

Megaman Online is a non sense comparisonYup, because X is already 1 head taller than Megaman and by the looks of it, online, Duo is too tall.
Mini-Duo is the size he is because of being a playable character in Power Fighters his full height would have been a disadvantage. Also given that Power Fighters was made and released before 8, mini-duo is his most inaccurate size. I would stand his mm8 sprite next to Megaman's mm8 sprite for a good size up to what his Mugen size could sit at.

I still need to do the teleporting in intro sprites & Redo the get hit sprites. There are a bunch here an there that need to be done. I'm heavily debating if I'm going to Sprite him from the other side then code him like Gill from Street Fighter.finish one side first. This charcter has allot of potential.
