Well this guy looks really sick! Love the movement on him how he floats and all.

With all these Megaman characters floating around, it's like you could make a small lil' Megaman game.

having snakeman as a striker is cool.

Snakeman is also in Cutman's Win Pose... wouldn't it be funny if no one ever made an actual MvC style Snakeman but instead used him somewhere in each of the Megaman boss characters.

I wouldn't find it funny.......I really want a MvC Snakeman  :(    At least we are gonna get Pharaohman  ;D

I try your others chars excursion, and I really like it, I think you work on Capcom too...

Will all of your megaman chars part of Megaman XR Mugen Project?

I hope yes, it will be so good, metalman, 3 megaman, willy, iceman, cutman, this one, bass, zero, geminiman, protoman, sigma, a secret, and more...

OFF TOPIC: I see snakeman in the sff of cutman... it is great! Who are the one who make those sprites...

an idea i had been toying around with was as a hyper  knokc an opponent into a coffen that closed and acted like an iron maiden **not the band**   doing serious damage. plus obviously he should have his mummy clones. goes without saying lol

Aha! New year, new WIP  :-" I was going to take a break from Megaman robot WIP's for a little while, but something always draws me to the next one. This time, I think it was a combo of seeing ChAoTiC's Reploid forum and future works as well as comments and such from my teammates that I decided to just go ahead and add him to my schedule. Pharaohman has intrigued me for quite some time and I am quite happy to be working on him (until I get tired of spriting him in the coming weeks and months  :D ) but seriously, once I get Metalman out with lapsacho and finish bug-fixing my other 3 characters, I will hit this one full-time with another creator's marvel character WIP that I have been in negotiations and talks with (hopefully.) Anyway, all that is done as of right now are various sprites from different positions (earlier edits I made from last year) and the current sets you see below of the stance, forward "walk" and backward "walk." Yes, he will hover ala Magneto and will still jump and land... just like Magneto. I will add effects like dust effects to the stance or "walk" anims in time as I find/rip them. Will I give him ANY ability to fly around the screen? Maybe, maybe not. time will tell.  :thumbsup:

You can add a teleport move like Anubis Necromancess the Third from Megaman Zero, in which he turn into sand, sink into the ground, and then regenerate at the other side.
Also, he need his main weapon, the Pharaoh Shot, which could be chargeable!

I agree, he really has an evil feel to him.

The floating makes him feel alot like a Megaman boss.
I can see him floating about the stage and attacking.

Very nicely done, I must say.

Pharaoh Shot must be there,as well as maybe,the charged up ball that megaman had after full charging it

There are a couple problems with that. 1st off, the zombies he had in the Power Battle's game were short. It would look very wierd to give him those zombies as strikers/helpers which lead me to not want to give him any zombies at all. Secondly, I think zombies are overused, for that reason alone, I do not want to use the Jill Resident Evil zombies. I do not want to give him powers, moves or helpers that Anakaris has because then this would essentially just be Anakaris. If I use Anakaris, it will be for certain things. This is going to be a painful process once I am stumped.

Anyway, I edited sprites for his standing/crouching turn, jumping up/forward/back, landing from jump > rise back to stance as well as his 1st intro. I am almost done coding in the intro. Once I finish that, I will jump back to laspacho's Metalman before continuing to the crouching sprites and hitback's to make him a perfect punching bag for screenie show off's ;)

Thanks for all the ideas and comments. Inspiration at it's finest. :)

Looking good so far.
You could make robot mummys that are mvc style to use as strikers.
And perhaps you could look to Egyptian mythology to get ideas for new powers, one power bassed off of each of the gods form egyptian myth.

oh, but there's so much cool stuff to lift and parody in Anakaris. Imagine a pharoah's curse type move (the one where Anakaris turns the opponent into a miniature version of themselves) that turns characters like Cutman and Arthur into 8-bit versions of themselves.
Anakaris also had a neat backwards dash that let him appear on the opposite side of the screen if he did it in a corner, and I think this type of character really needs a teleport move.

give him lots of deceptive moves, binding traps, a teleport where he turns into sand and sinks into the floor, things like that maybe.

howzabout a hyper where he fills the ground with sand, which (like in his level in megaman 4) causes the opponent to lose mobility and sink, while pharohman is unaffected because he's obviously floating.
