Great Question man! Well when i was pretty much going around checkin out where the poll was at, i was lookin for not only feedbacks but mostly how well the characters were doing and on top of that i was wondering which characters would be best suited to be in the project. I got all kinds of feedbacks but mostly in certain spots peeps awere asking why so and so wasn in? well if the time no one requested those characters and the feedback from community wasnt strong on who they wanted then there is no need to put em in ya know.
Like Guyver, he didnt so well in the polls , not that he cant be done just i felt there was others who never had any shine before in mugen period so he already been in mugen. as well as exxcel saga, the anime is crazy funny but i didnt see much more involvement could i develope a strong serious fighting game character from it. sure anyone could be converted but that would been some crazy work to be done.

. 2 others were just axed all together cause there was 0 movement on them.
Now some peps did vote for a June from star gladiator to be in but i was like nahhh. stickin core anime . Right now i am about to do Spike from Cowboy bebop and get the test sprite done to see how i wanna make em look in basic. then flesh em all out. The characters that are in the roster are the ones that really peeps spoke on ya know. some tied, some were like up there and was darn near neck and neck ( cowboy bebop, vampire hunter d and trigun) . Avatar did almost the least next to Exxcel saga but i found i could actually do a really cool character from it so i chose Toph. Ang is the lead character but to me Toph is a driving force to be reckoned with in their crew. Plus i got some fx sprites that i could really use for her.

So with the vote poll closed and i already had the roster set beforehand because i saw how they all was doing i decided to do all who was to be in the game and offer the fans what and who they wanted.

I know I'm not supposed to post, but I might participate to go with Adam Blade with Ren Idagawa base I guess. School started Thursday so I would take less time or won't take time in spriting from Sunday to Thursday but Friday (and probably Saturday) I can use the computer to help out with the sprite. I already got an idea about using that. I don't know how he fights unless I watch all the episodes. I can see others in the list are working on spriting the chars for this project. I don't know if I would try the attempt. Anyways, I'm always into OpenBor project(s). I actually can sprite characters.

of people on the roster that do need some spriting so if ya wanna join up and do some spriting i be more than happy to show you everyone that needs sprites and work and you can have your pick of them. No rush on anything bro, i want to take my time and do this right. Like right now i am doing test sprites till i go on forward to my first official done character for the projec myself and thats Hungry Wolf Terry, then Adam Blade and Jamin. Just Pm me and i will definely fill you in on whats what with the project.

Wow! Things seem to be coming a long. got to admit at first thought this would be nothing more them a pipe dream. But now seeing the resent work I'm starting to come around.

Really liking the updates to the sprites. That spike floored me I really hope he's taken to completion.

most def Spike is taken ALLLLLLLLLLLLLL the way as well as the rest of the cast. we got a long road ahead and whoever gets on board is def gonna see this isnt a joke. Honestly, even i who thought up the entire concept a year ago felt somewhat swayed not to do it in mugen but offline with my buds, cause i saw

of people doing so much from flaming, downplaying and some people didnt even give some people ideas a shot. like ya said Rage, Pipe Dreams, but if they was passionate enuff, finish what ya start no matter if ya have to do it by yourself. I am glad i have made cool friends and fellow mugen fam that really inspired me to stop just hitin the Download button and do something. I got skills but they need tightening in areas and some stuff i just had to learn and relearn. I am happy i got good sprite teaches and good coding friends who are educating me on how to approach mugen differently than how i would approach what i was used to outside of mugen. i am still bringin in some of my many years of engineering things but mugen is a huge ball of fun and i love it.
So most definetly, dont sell me short just yet

. Its just the begining, the long road is the character development. I will do my best to make peeps a lil happy to get to play as some of their favorite characters, besides, I cant wait to play it myself either! lmao

well to show off something some don for the project for us, i was trying to do a title screen on my own, hit a block cause my gimp kinda did a shut down on me :'( , I am still waiting on some other work to be done and then i can rest easy on all the final stuff i need to supply the screenpack maker with. here is a version of the Title Select Screen i started and Malik did the Background on it for me. Great job Malik!

I also wanna have 3 versions of Title screens with different characters each so if anyone wants to exchange out they can. Demonking ex....wait chuck Norris Ex

is doing one i believe as well and i will roll with one of for the released project and the others will be switchouts.

we gonna see if it can have rotating various characters in it as well. C.R.O.M Malik the demon hunter is handling some of our future portrait works and something cool i have in mind. Plus he will be doing some alternate title screen menus for peeps who want just the standard ones with various characters

Also Hloader the screenpack maker for the project , showing 80% work completed portrait work and glossed the style in the character select screen in the screenpack . here is a pic of how its coming along with the now default portraits. this his current work . the character select screen itself was created by V-nix.

hey had to do a redo .

. well here is a more finalized version of Musubi from the Skirei Anime for the project. Tsukiumi still needs to be done and minato who is all their Hyper striker , he will be used as the character they need to kiss in order to unleash their Norito move. which can only be activated at level 3.

Hloader has now finished the conversion of the character select screen and its now at 100% complete. next will be the projects characters portraits inserted . the characters in the screenshot here are the defaults used to demo it off to show. Great Job Hloader on the completion on it. Amazing

yeah he is doing a bangin job man, he really hookin it up. V-nix def made sure he had the right things to run with on it too. Now i wanna see if he can input some of the roster pics in for the portraits so i can see how they flow . plus , i have to come up with a cool track for the title menu to flow into the character select screen and one more thing....he gave me a lil something special. I got the FX code for the flashin characters on the title menu!
