Currently working on the official website and finishing up the sprites.

I have big plans for this!

Also the project name has been changed back to strides 2 glory: Versus

More sputnik updates

And a new traveling stage based on the china river stage in KOF.

A FEW THINGS I TRIED TO DEMONSTRATE
-how & when to use the meter for EX-Trigger moves
-how & when to use the meter for EX-cancelling
-general back dash cancelling
- move crushing

With the name Strides 2 Glory returning, does this mean that the trademarked characters such as Ronald McDonald, Jin Kazama, etc. are out and we'll be seeing more original characters take their place?

Yes you're partially correct. I am focusing on originals but the mugen legend characters are still part of the main roster. (kung fu man, ronald aka (donald in japan) are still in it. The other none s.2.g characters may end up being add-ons. But they are no longer the primary focus.

Mitsuko costume update+ Random easter eggs
Mitsuko's sprites have been updated yet again and for the final time. I have given her some gaunlets to accompany her leotard.
Also I have littered the game with random easter eggs you can find. Such as super deformed mitsuko and more

True, but it looks like one of his fingers is behind his leg, while the others are in front. I guess he has thin legs...or wide fingers. Epic design tho.

no it's really this simple his entire hand is behind it for the most part. The only time it's in front is when he lifts his arms slightly during his stance. Remember this is a 3d model so it's damn near impossible for the perspective to be off.

Mitsuko, TKD-girl, aya, sputnik, donald are near completion I'm just adding more moves. They are the alpha-demo characters.
-Madam woe is not a demo character but is near completion.
-The other cast you see are all playable but are lacking enough moves to showcase at the moment.
-The characters in roster that aren't shown on the website are not in the playable phase yet.

More updates

New tanker stage

Jou and Donald are kinda clones
They have similar game-play but have more than enough individuality to set them apart.

Also a lot of the characters and stages have been re-worked graphically

Ah yes! I remember the tanker stage (old one) that had jets flying around on the background and this one looks fantastic too, in my personal opinion I love sunsets a lot, fits perfectly to the stage.

New Fight video

Once again testing the new mechanics. I've also made some additions to both characters such as grounded attacks. I also have plans on adding a new buildable-meter to the fight HUD for some kind of unique attack.

Jou and his Queen of hearts summon
Queen of hearts can be summoned to perform an attack before leaving the screen. She can also be attacked just like a regular character and knocked off the screen to level the playing field.

No. The portraits are not supposed to be specifically facing each other.
