Adon has been finished for some time now but i though it would be better to release him at the IMT download party instead of releasing him earlier and that was a good thing cus i ended up making many adjustment and re working stuff i already had done.

this version uses the EOH theme/style but it doesn't quite play like the one found in the latest EOH beta.
the EOH ingame versions of these characters usually have some stuff modified by Acey to make the characters more compatible with the EOH system.

so this is the version that will be added to the next EOH beta (some stuff will be removed/changed tho)
but since this is a public normal versions i went a bit overboard and added/refined many gameplay elements.

Damn I love you 47. I was hoping Adon would be released soon. He is definitely the best Adon out there in my opinion. I can't wait to see what you added/changed since the 4.6 version I last tried. Thanks again for this awesome release. PARTY!!!  :w00t:

Already dang near perfected a 15 hit, 30% combo with him, no edgehog assist. Wish I had a way to film it:

LP, LK, MP, MK, HP, HK (both connects) Fierce Jaguar Flying Knee, Air Light Jaguar Kick, Jaguar Elbow Hyper.

I LOVE THIS CHARACTER!

This Adon has got to be the best one yet, he plays very solid and this Adon really does rival Scar's awesome sagat...

Man i really like this character, its as if you knew just what to add when it came time to convert his moves over to mvc style, you kno, to exaggerate them a bit to make them look like they have a fighting chance....

Good job.. The R@CE giv this character a 9.5, would giv it a 10 but you kno people will say i'm being a fan boy so, awww what the heck, who cares

adon has an infinite and in addition to trhat once he gets you in the corner he can combo the same hyper again and again and possibly again.

what infinite? if you mean an infinite with a hyper he only has 3 power levels so hyper infinite isn't possible unless you mean repeating it in training mode while the enemy is cornered, best you could do on single player mode is use the hyper 3 times if the enemy is cornered.

@Dragonwarrior0; how did the floating happen? floating like standing in the air?

Well, this Adon looks quite interesting, I have not tried him out yet, but looking at its feedback I think this will be a great Adon.

currently updating the sprites offsets and minor tweaks, waiting for that infinite Gaijin mentioned.

adon updated, a temp filefactory link has been updated at the first post the till acey/EX updates the main link again.

thanks everyone for the comments and feedback, i think some files were wrong in the first release and the fighter factory cropping isn't messes up some sprites.

anyway
-sprites position/animations re adjusted and tweaked.
-fixed the stuff Gaijin mentioned.
-tweaked many things along the way.

download this one and replace the old, this one is more solid o you wont need the first release.

Thank you for this, sir! Adon was #3 on my list of characters I was hoping to see during the release party. I loved him in the last EoH beta, so I'm sure I'm going to have fun with this release!

jus tested and yes this is much better and a very solid release. only problem is his normal basic moves come out really slowly and the amount of damage he can do in one combo is quite alot. alot of the eoh characters are like this and matches will end rather quickly if the damage value stay like this. i have to set my mugen to 200 percent life in order to get more out a match. his lk looks funny like he has too many sprites cuz when it hits it looks like he is kicking twice. other than that hes fine.

his animations were extended for smoother movement but the combos still work fine unlike the sfa version which looked bit stiff cus it, not much changed in the anims start up timings but now after fixing the positioning they show and look fine, the lk moves backwards after hitting so the look is intended.
as for the damage, that's how the vs games are but it's easily changeable tho.

However, just a quick question. I noticed, that each of the staff member has released his/her character's stage, nothing weird so far, however you've not mentionned that 'Air Fight' is Adon's one.... and I hope it's not, 'cause it doesn't fit it at all  8=|. This character needs an oriental styled stage (Marvel vs SF Temple of Fists' one being a good base to edit to fit Adon, just an example, but still...).

lol that's cus it's not adon's stage and it's not even in the EOH game, it's just a stage i made a while back and forgot to release so i released it at the party, i might make a stage for him eventually tho.

i have never seen the mp or close mp missing at close range, maybe it's something with the character that you are playing against.

it never happened to me against himself or others but i really didn't test him against kfm.
this should fix it against kfm.

Best Adon so far! However there are some minor animation problems.

-Whenever he dashes forward this occurs:

-When he throws his hand goes behind the opponent and his face looks somewhat ackward:

-When he jumps the animation repeats itself over and over again. I think you might've forgotten a change state or something.
-When he comes down from a jump, he crouches before going back to the standing position.

-the dash sprites are meant to look like that, to show some speed, it's not a problem.
-i didn't make those face sprites in the throw they ware made by capcom, they were used as throw attempt failing in sfa, and i used them as throwing attempts, not a problem here.
-the animation of the normal jumps dose not repeat.
this is made for the super jump cus he doesn't have a mvc super jump animation, it's meant like he is coming down from a distance, not a problem as well.
-nope he doesn't go into a crouching state/animation when he is landing, he goes into a stand to crouch attempt animation and then back to stand again, so he never crouches and i meant to look like a hard/heavy landing specially when he is coming down from a super jump, he can't just land standing on his feet you know, not a problem too.

Dude, I just played about twenty straight matches with this guy. I liked him before, but now I think I love him. This is one of the nastiest SOB's around in my opinion. His ai frickin rocks too. Adon updated today (again), re download from the main link (first post)
here is what's new
-tweaks/fixes/adjustments for the normal combos & aerial rave combos
-hitting adjustments
-chaining tweaks
-correct EOH guard sound (he uses the guard sound in his snd now)
-some minor damage tweaks
-general corrections for many things
this will be pretty much the final update for now.

This is the best Adon so far. Now this is just me being picky about details:
-He's got no custom intro vs. Sagat. Looks weird when fighting Sagats with vs-Adon-intros.
-His back dash looks odd. Looks like flickering frames.

After that...

I PROPOSE THIS ADON FOR CHAR OF 2009.

Here's why:
1)It's a char that usually gets little respect (heck, DEEJAY got the Vs treatment before this guy), but he's got plenty now.
2)The AI, coding, sounds and effects are clean and user-friendly. Good to watch and good to play.
3)The specials and supers are appropriate for this style without being over-the-top as in many other char-enhancement attempts. He's powered-up without being a monster.
4)The animations have been improved without massive Frankenspriting, creating a subtle, natural look which seems as though it could have come direct from CAPCOM. Simply put, he made an official character look more official.
5)Made by a known mugen contributor. Meaning this is real work, not a possible spriteswap.

This is the best Adon so far. Now this is just me being picky about details:
-He's got no custom intro vs. Sagat. Looks weird when fighting Sagats with vs-Adon-intros.
-His back dash looks odd. Looks like flickering frames.

After that...

I PROPOSE THIS ADON FOR CHAR OF 2009.

Here's why:
1)It's a char that usually gets little respect (heck, DEEJAY got the Vs treatment before this guy), but he's got plenty now.
2)The AI, coding, sounds and effects are clean and user-friendly. Good to watch and good to play.
3)The specials and supers are appropriate for this style without being over-the-top as in many other char-enhancement attempts. He's powered-up without being a monster.
4)The animations have been improved without massive Frankenspriting, creating a subtle, natural look which seems as though it could have come direct from CAPCOM. Simply put, he made an official character look more official.
5)Made by a known mugen contributor. Meaning this is real work, not a possible spriteswap.
thanks atomicbuster, feedback is always welcome  :thumbsup: , i don't have plans for making intros against the sagat versions out there, but we do have a sagat here so i might make the intro against him eventually or if i ever make my own sagat.
the back dash anim is a bit fast but it has no missing frames.

I wasn't sure wether it would be more appropriate to post this here or in the Infinity's WIP section... Nvm, Mr.47, notice that :
- standing MP doesn't hit when you're close from the opponent...
- ... neither does the crouching HP

It must be due to some collosion boxes issues. Peace.

-wall hit spark re positioning
-jaguar fist hyper part hit sound corrected
-select portrait color index 0 fixed

adon updated on (updated 10/20/2009) small bug fixes
-tweaked crouching lp and lk chaining
-enemy getting launched effect getting paused with super pauses
-some effects lacked transparency, not really sure why (maybe caused by ffu)
-other small adjustments that i don't remember what they were
