Starting today we will be releasing the characters for the AvX full game. We have gone through each character and make all the adjustments necessary so that they will function in a normal mugen setting. We will also be including the stage for each character along with the original music by WizzyWhipItWonderful. Stay tuned true believers.

Nope, they have variable AI coded which is a feature of Mugen 1.0. They won't work in WinMugen.

I've read that the stages will be released correctly for each character, but i want to ask something... Does any other stages will be added like the ship riding on the water that i can't think of a name that is with Red Skull, besides the characters that will include the stages of their own? Still (if you want) it would be a great bonus/tutorial game. Just like the Prime Sentinel Attack.
Most mugen characters don't have push block or OTG attacks though so those would probably need to be removed. Also Cable has each AvX character's specific commands for launchers, special and hyper attacks listed in his file. He has to have that programmed seprately for each character, similar to Rogue's stolen move list.

I Understand, but one question will there be an AI patch for Cable? his AI on AvX Hard Difficulty is challenging and I like it. Oh, and by the way Red Hulk is also has a good combo I like it, He is also a great character, The quality made of this Character is very Good to. Great work on him Acey and the rest of the Team Well Done :)

I don't think Deadpool will be released because he is already released longtime ago and nothing much has change on him since. My guess will be The Thing or The Red Hulk I Think. ~X(

Because Scarlet Witch has some bugs during its first release and that Scarlet Witch was still incomplete. They had re-released this character as a complete version of her, Notice her AI was to good and very challenging.

Well now I'm not sure if Forces of Evil is a char, considering it's more of a bonus stage, but I think the Phoenix and Captain Marvell will be left out.It was said that two of the playable characters weren't going to be released. Forces of Evil, Phoenix Force and Cpt. Marvel aren't playable.
Anyway I hope all char will be released.

There are major elements that are exactly the same (super jump, magic combos, hyper attackes, etc...), some that are really different:
Case in point, Wolverine:
Changes from XSC to AvX:
1) Berserker Barrage causes a knock down
2) Berserker Barrage does 8 cornered hits rather than 5
3) Leathal Lunge is now an unblockable command throw
4) (Special Attack) Dive Kick causes a ground bounce
5) Normal Dive Kick added (causes ground bounce on air opponents)
6) Standing MK -> Standing MK can now be cancelled into Standing HK Launcher
7) Crouching attacks can be cancelled into Standing HK Launcher
8 ) Berserker Barrage X will hit OTG
9) Throws can be performed both backwards and forwards
10) Variable A.I.
11) The Standing HK Launcher puts the opponent in a custom state in order to controll the opponent's abilty to recover during the Launch.
1 thorugh 3 just affect game play and strategy.
4 through 7 all work in order to extend Wolverine's combos.
8 will allow you to get one last hyper attack in at the end of a combo.
9 and 11 are just necessary parts of good character design that takes more time.
I hope this list helps. Every single character onthe roster that has been released prior to the design of AvX has exactly these same kind of changes that has a big impact on the game play, which is why they are being rereleased in the AvX form. This list leaves out any other bugs that may have been discovered in the process and fixed.

So anyway I really like all the new content that you and many other developers (here and elsewhere) release. That's why I got into mugen in the first place. =D>
And as I recall Zvitor somewhere mentioned it that he and the crew will create all the Xmen/Marvel characters in the future for a big project.

Will do. But at the moment I think Phoenix would beat him up. Apocalypse currently has a default/easy AI. Will work on that after we've released him.
... if Phoenix ever ends up being release... maybe... later... today?

How come Dazzler wasn't in any of the games? I've noticed this awhile ago, but I didn't ask until now. And I realize she never got fully finished, but couldn't anyone do that, or something? I mean the sprites and effects so far are amazing, it would be shame to leave her like that. I'm just curious.^^(PM)^

Well in my case is not a matter of laziness, is the first time I entered this topic and who does not speak the language is a bit tricky the translator does not work reliably but, for what I understand he is not ready

Btw has Cyclops and Rogue been updated? The last time I've checked Cyke had a palette 'n sound issue, while Rogue had power 'n minor palette issues.

As far as I understandthe issues Cyclops has been fixed but Rogue has not yet.

If you people want Cable without Hope just chose the last 3 palletes(punch buttons) and Cable will be without her, and if you want one or more of the palletes he has with Hope you got to switch or replace a pallete from those 3 that don't have Hope with that one. To have him without Hope in the arcade just change the pallete order in the DEF file to the palletes without that bird lady.Or just ask for an update that way "people" with little to no knowledge on how to do that don't have to.

Not in the near future. Too much would have to be removed from the training stage to make it work with the general mugen population.
