Title: Problems with stage music
Post by: squidgy617 on November 21, 2009, 04:36:31 PM: Alright, so I've been trying to use some stages lately. I tried using Metalman, Crashman, and Fireman's stages. I put the music files in the sound folder, but when I started one of the stage's, the music was stuttering and fuzzy and quiet, and its really kind of hard to explain. I tried to use Audacity and change it to 16-bit, but when i exported it, it didn't change. I double-checked, and, for some reason, it said that the sound was still 32-bit! Does anyone know what the problem is?

Help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

For some reason, I can't play Wily Castle or Cutter-Stage. Wily Castle has an error message that says something like "error reading sprites/stages flashman.mp3 or something like that and the cutter stage says "Error Message: Music file not supported: sound/cutman_red_hot_paradise". I downloaded both of these stages off of the site.

Post by: Manic on November 25, 2009, 12:51:31 AM: To fix this, it might be that the ".mp3" is not added after the MP3's name, which it does not read it as an MP3, but just as a file. So, instead of sound/songname you would put sound/songname.mp3.
