Hi community, im presenting this wip i have started time ago

One thing though, the legs seem a bit too thick. Maybe it's just me.

Wow. That Archangel looks good. I like how the wings are animated like that. Plus you got a good spriting on the character. The wings look like a paper plane style to me, but it sure looks masterpiece. I love the movement of the wings though.

hi dude. i love that sprite of him , looks really cool, i like the wings, looks like his wings too. just the flapping motion may need a lil edit on how they are flapping. but total fixable bro. looking great man.

Is it just me, or do his wings just give you that Paper Mario feel?

about the paper mario effect .

but i can see where the wings may need a edit on how they are flapping. like the wings are more like pushing him downward instead of lifting him up or say keeping him stationary in air. they flap motion is more like the ...butterfly swim motion i think its called. but that aint nothin too hard to fix at all. just editing the flap in reverse probably to look more where the top is the bottom way of flapping. i hope i worded that right kinda.

believe me they will be in his right mode then.

about the mario`s thing..... i dont know mmmm may be it could be given some thickness then

well in that case then once you fix that for his right mode then man he is dead on point good. he already looks cool too . hope you do some good work on this character bro.

yeah maybe a bit more thickness to the wings i guess. i think thats what he meant as well. but overall.

As I understand it in the comics when he became archangel he stopped flying like a bird and started flying more like a fixed wing aircraft. Similar to a fighter jet.

Its cool, but I saw some errors:

- that wings are....weird.
- look at his chest, at his left size. I have a feeling that everthing is going to shrink into that way, take a look

about the aircraft flying i have the same impression with those old comics
but take a look in the game, where we have a dinamic view of his flight

he is flying like a bird....

it is supposed that marvel approved this

i let that fixed wings for the attacks

Yeah the flapping is good for idling.

But even in the cartoon it was more gliding.

Pidgeons flap eagles soar

Metal...no matter what flapping that slow wont keep u aloft

the weight of a man can not be lifted with wings that so left alone the fact that they are metal which weight

too. but IDC i like it the way it is. could use some touches here and there but its nice.

i love this wings, i cant imagine something better, we have some great sprites edits with archangel wings around, but no1 tryed anim that.

Angel's other mutation is Hollow bones, like a bird..

looks muuch better than the existing archangel sprites that are in the Angel/archangel char by arkady, but.. i think the creators of that char are updating the archangel sprites with other ones that looks very cool too. so if u finish ur char first, everyone will love u XD, good luck.

I started this wip 2 years ago, and i couldnt finish it.
now im trying the more i can to do it because i have
a little more free time

btw it is cool to have more than one wip of a character to choose

unfortunately, i'm only updating the sprites and adding some extra moves for mine, essex here has a chance to create a whole new character from scratch, all ive been doing is updating sosbros version over the years, this i'm sure will rock, the only quirk i have with this is that he is way too muscly for me, and reminds me of arnold swartz with wings, but i gotta tell you the sprite work is very clear and crisp, and i wish that i had started on this instead of the sos version, good luck with the wip

p.s. hey enghe, i still love this one too and I'll be getting the competition trophy hahahahaha
