not that much anyway, after the fantastic 2-D side scrolling games of the 90s on the SNES, it spiralled out of control for me on newer, better consoles, and these days the story is so convoluted and there's been a handful of incarnations that are just aren't worth playing..I've lost track of Megaman entirely these days, and only remember what I could from the good old days

With the robot girl.. i think you should remove the dark outline on the rest of her body, cuz it looks like here head and body dont match. If you do that it should improve the look of her allot.

Made on Paint(yeah,good old paint) using Megaman as a positioning base and drawing the rest of the sprite

I made a Vile using Izanagi's Vile as my starting point. The major difference is Izanagi is styling Vile from a later MMX game since Vile looked different in every game, so if this does help him in any way he is welcome to it.

On my home monotor, Vile looks awfuly blue compared to the snes version you posted next to him.
Actually I would make him a darker purple and change the yellow on his helmet if I were to actually make him, that would all be done with pallets though. ;D

Resized one of his original sprites and redrew over it, completely reshading it my way and trying to make it fit the MvC style. The bottom of him could be a bit rounder, but aside from that, I'm pretty happy with it. Oh, and his orbs were made from scratch as I didn't feel like redrawing the ones he had. :)

This time though I really tried getting the MvC style down some more.I don't really like the design of the weird MM8 bosses personally, but those are nice sprites, especially Astro Man! As far as Grenade Man's MvC look, I think the shading is a little off still. Look at the legs for example. MvC Megaman's legs are almost all 1 shade of blue with the shadows starting close to the edges of his leg. Your Grenade Man has the shadow starting from right around the middle of the leg, making him look more 3D than the average MvC character.

He's just not Geminiman without that line. I might play with it a little more, though, to try and make it look more square.

Got some nice stuff here. I say you should same your images as a png for better quality. Also dont stretch your image ether. Mask, crop, and scale them in to place. Now i really like the geki i believe and strikeman(sorry if i got that wrong.)
If you really want to get into making those make a thread for them. Sorry but this isnt the thread for the avatars. You can look around the GFX section there are others here who do that type of work. You may get some ideas. Rage, Twon, V-Nix, Hunk EX(A.K.A. DemonKing) to name a few.
Id really like to see what you create. :)

Personal opinion:i plan on making it like vega's claw in a way, it will fall off if it gets hit enough times but when he has it on it will raise his defence by a reasonable percent
Lose the helmet, unless it's for an intro. He looks weird with the helmet. Then again I've only seen this Megaman with no helmet so what do I know

Now I can animated mega man going the sonic Boom Its up to you the edit said sprites in to topman however. Deal? i create the animation and you turn said sprites into topman? I may lean farther help if sprites need cleaning or retouching or some sorts once all is finished.

I think these were all the angles I used. If I missed any other angles your welcome to grab it from Crashman's sff.

If whomever is making Quake Woman needs some different drill angles here you go, a little something I saved all these years. This is what I made when I was spriting Crashman. If it helps your welcome to use it. :)
