MvC-EoH Gouki by DCL Released

Its been a LONG time.....
Yea I know, Vyn made a Gouki too but I decided to make my own as well...also as a gift to all since I havent been doin much recently =/

My version of Gouki was released on Monday (yea 4th of July) but I havent made a post about it til today so yeah...sorry...



No video because my comp sucks now, at recording, even trying to run a regular winmugen or Mugen 1.0. It SUCKS!!! So here's some screens...

Also, this Gouki is the first to have exact (or maybe accurate to avoid any shenanigans) hitboxes to the vs series (X-Men vs Street Fighter, and Marvel Super Heroes vs Street Fighter)

why does all gouki/akuma versions have this bad ugly violet effects?
arent there some hires sparks for explosions and stuff?
every single akuma/gouki ive tried has this violet cloudy low-res effect and it would be really awesome to see an akuma with new fx like heros new 1.0 chars have..

i hope you dont get me wrong, the char is pretty awesome but the effects could be better i think. ::salute::

Its his MSH vs SF effects, plus some from Xmne vs SF, Im no pro at making Hi Res effects and I dont even have photoshop or paintshop pro.

Nice to see that your still doing M.U.G.E.N stuff. Even though I'm taking the summer a break from it, it doesn't hurt to give your version of Gouki a try. Keep up the good work and release. :thumbsup:

-Also, add a height/velocity requirement to it. Like, you can't do this move if pos y < 45 or vel y < 4 or something.
-IMO I think you should increase the pausetimes of all attacks by about 2 or 3 intergers ( Capcom Vs games use 9,9 on turbo iirc).
-Why did you make Fwd + Medium Kick cause wall bounce?

 -Cool Down and Startup times for Kuujin Kyaku - Fixin That now...
 -Height Vel & Pos to Kuujin Kyaku - Was added after I uploaded Gouki, so yes Im still fixing some of the coding.
 -The pausetimes not sure, since it is EoH style, most attacks have a pause of 8, 10, or 12 (maybe 9 and 15)
 -Senpuu Kyaku? I want it to differ between shotos, plus trying to go for some MvC3
 -Akuma's basics change depending on the direction of the input (Hold Back + b or c, Hold Back + z, etc.)
If you are talking about the standard medium kick, ill take a look at it.
 -I was expecting for someone to mention Akuma's velocity on the Zankuu Hadoukens, I guess I'll change that back...
 -Animtimes? Why I use Frame by Frame on my Emulator (Winkawaks), to get my animation times. I try to be 100% accurate, sometimes I like to change the times merely by 1 or 2, so I guess its my fault.
 -The SFF isnt cropped? I guess that was my mistake...I sincerely apologize for that...
 -Whats wrong with CvS2 sounds? They are used for EoH...

Hitpauses seem to differ strangely between Winmugen and 1.0, but I did keep them the same each, hopefully no problems, as I am currently looking at Gouki right now...

I see, I'm updating as we speak, and yes I remember, you kindly offered me your help when it comes to FX. Its not necessary, but if you want to make those hi-res effects, go right on ahead.
