Demo 3 part 1 is finally ready.  After so much time and testing and fixes.  The game should be stable enough for people to enjoy some frantic player vs player action.  For those who are wondering what is new here is a quick recap.

New Features in Demo 3 include the ability to select your assist type before the start of the round.

The Baroque system first introduced in Tatsunoko Vs Capcom has been added to Capcom Universe  with some new mechanics for added versatility:

The new characters in this build: Tiffany, Michelle Heart, Gouki, Haggar, Sodom, Cody, R.mika, Devilotte, Batsu, Felicia, Q, and Lilith being a B side to Morrigan. 

Accessing Lilith can be done by pressing Up during your assist select, or by pressing D,D and 2 kick buttons during the match (requires 1 meter).  The same goes for Dark sakura.

this brings the character total to 38 (40 if counting lilith and dark sakura)

I recommend reading the character move list.  Some characters have different commands for moves now.  Other characters have new moves added and some moves were removed.

Update 4/4/2016 2:54am PST:
Gouki's overhead chop can no longer be blocked while crouching.
Gouki dragon punch damages fixed
Super's can no longer accidentally be triggered by the exiting character after a Variable Air Raid
Q's super armor has been reduced
Hugo and Q can no longer be immediately launched without wearing down their super armor.
Rmika AI no longer triggers a non existent level 3
Rmika's wrestling ring should disappear appropriately when controlled by the A.I.
Fixed the breakaway floor triggers so it doesn't break when a standing character is hit by an air combo.
Fixed Characters that sank beneath the floor after an air guard
Fixed Characters exiting when the variable air raid kills the opponent
Fix for characters that could not medium kick while holding forward
All taunts should be fixed and working.
Invulnerability added for victims of Trons lunch rush when popped up.  this will prevent interference
characters will turn if facing the wrong way when snapped back
Characters will no longer exit the screen if Variable Air Raid is performed on assisting characters
Screen sized increased from 2x to 3x.

Update 4/11/2016 2:54am PST:
morrigan stand lp has hit sound now
jill creatures work correctly on forgotten sanctuary
Rmika triggered a level 3 that doesn't exist fixed
Rmika's wrestling ring needs to dissappear fixed
characters are invincible when crashing through the floor on forgotten sanctuary to prevent errors.
gouki has invincibility on musou gou shoryu up to the first uppercut
cody no longer does nothing when pressing forward and mk
morrigan and lilith's non launching crouching HP is done while holding back
tabasa baroque glitch fixed
Michelle's sting of ares fixed to not go through the floor
Michelle twin laser no longer causes super combo finish
captain commando super floor priority fixed on forgotten sanctuary
Sakura turns back to normal sakura after first match fixed
same for morrigan
not possible to fix arcade order.  Mugen is not reliable with this feature and sometimes will correctly follow the order after the first match.  Your first match should always be Metro Dream
Sting of Ares no longer causes a crash when finishing someone off.
DHC out of triple heavens removes boman and roy now
Hugo Red Life fixed

Update 5/2/2016 2:10am PST:
Character, Ryu, added

Update 5/14/2016
Fixes for Ryu
Fixed reflected projectile behavior on characters that produced clones or left over effects
Fixed Gouki's portrait not appearing during shun goku satsu

I'm having some trouble with it. It seems to work okay when you're actually playing it, but in watch mode, in Singles mode, it won't progress past the Choose Assist Type and in Simul, the player cards and the Vs. screen stay indefinitely and the match never starts.

yeah unfortunately cosmos mugen doesn't have a way of eliminating the other modes.  The game only works in 2 vs 2 simultaneous.

Im still looking for solutions

i'd like to thank everyone who pointed out the critical errors after the release.  I'll be putting out weekly updates if needed. 

At this point i'd like to start working on the IKEMEN version.

can you add resizable screen in the update

cause when you add full screen the top and bottom are cut off, also there is clonage on all chars

There are two ways and even the two can handle.

I forgot to mention the assist command infact, should be  the medium attack buttons, not the start button.
Belive me, is uncomfortable to press playing with control pad

Mugen's training mode doesn't work with 2 vs 2 characters so i had to create my own training mode.  In versus mode if you select the stage called "Training Mode" you can use that stage for training.  It is coded to refill your life and power.

Not possible.  i have already used up all available commands so that tag team will work.  Every character in the game has to have the same command list.  so they have to have every executable command motion shared among the entire cast.  I've already maxed it out.

This is already implemented.  If you wait long enough your assist select will time out and be chosen.  In arcade mode the A.I. assist is immediately selected.

Belive me, is uncomfortable to press playing with control pad

This game does not play like marvel super heroes vs streetfighter.  You need to be able to summon an assist mid combo which wouldn't work very well if you have to press attack buttons to do it.   Besides the medium punch buttons trigger Baroque. 

Why don't you set "start" to a different button.

I found it and changed it to 1 and it worked but now when it's on full screen the game is halfway down the screen so you can only see half of the menus and title screen.

why remove training mode?

mugen training mode does not have a two versus two option.  so i moved training mode into versus mode

in versus mode if you  select the stage training mode instead of training room you'll see that there are blue lights in the wall

For some reason my game crashes every time I try to use rose... (everything else is awesome, though)

Edit: actually, it seems that an error occurs whenever I try to extract it from the zip, which seems to randomly created issues. I tried downloading and extracting again, and this time it was amingo that would crash the game.

Edit again: Tried using winrar to extract it, and can't even get it extracted at all with it, I get a notice that the file is corrupt.

Final Edit: third time was the charge apparently. got one that wasn't corrupt from my third download.

Demo 3-1 has received its final update until the online version comes out.

The only time Demo 3-1 will be updated until then is if something game breaking is discovered.
