since episode 1 of the filler that was my first thought about Muramasa when i first saw him(since the first or second scene,as he was interacting with the other Zan's in that cave thingy)

Yeah it does make sence or at least i see it this way the Zanpakutō and Shinigami are linked. They draw power from each other. So even if they saparated there still some remnants of this broken link to draw on. Its like ying and yang. Even if they split the ying yang they still have parts of each other, memories, experience, etc. They probaby cant use all there power since there saparated. But this is all speculation tho

how was Renji able to do that? o.O
My theory is that he's winning his Zanpakutou over, She said that they'd left him because they want to get stronger - this is also his goal... maybe the common ground has sparked something off in Zabimaru. Or perhaps because Renji always fights with his bankai he is able to release his sword's shikai form......

Don't forget, Ichigo's zanpakutou is ALWAYS in Shikai form - even now without Zangetsu.

my guess is the zanpakutou's power never realy left them. i think its like when ichigo fought zangetsu and made another zangetsu from his soul even though zangetsu was standing right infront of him. he did the same thing inside that inner world of his while fighting the memory of that kariya guy
