i just did not notice this for a bit of time <_<
one sprite is 23 x 11
so if i double it does that means it has to be 42 x 22

yes that is what it means.

now once you opened your image.

go to image-->Scale image

at the bar that says pixels next to the bars of width and height.

click the bar to select percent.

then select the width and height to 200%

then click scale to resize it.

then to make sure its 8-bit.

go to image-->mode-->indexed...

a window will open select convert and there you go your sprite is resized.

ok I resized the sprites.it was about 8 of them.do i have to resize the blank sprites too?it  was 8 that shows part of the stage but 42 all together.
Also how do I realign the sprites?I need instructions on how to do that too :-??

yes all the sprites.

after you done that replace the old sprites in fighter factory.

how to realign:(in fighter factory)

go to sprites:

whatever number is in those bars above you double them.

so for example the X axis above would be 260 double. and the Y axis would be zero since all numbers times 0 is 0.

got it?

Yes There is A way to make life bars hi res in mugen
« Reply #28 on: November 22, 2007, 06:36:42 PM »
you can use hi res scaling in the fight.def for the lifebars to be high res in regular and hi res mugen.

but the life bars have to be almost twice the size of length of the default mugen window size. (320x240)
