AvX in 720 or 1080?

I keep finding videos of AvX in 720p or 1080p, but nothing on how to get it to that point. When I try to change the gamewidth and gameheight in the mugen.cfg file, the screen overstretches and is cut off in fullscreen mode. >:( Any advice or help would be appreciated! ^:)^

I think it's an issue with whatever you record with, not the game itself
