Not sure why you aren't using Megaman's hands. Some things from Rock's desing, such as the hands and legs, are pretty much standard among the majority of the ronot master designs.

Yeah, but I want a bit of change in the character design, also considering arms are usually open when summoning the shields.


New version. 100% upgrade on last time, it's good but no way good enough to work it's way in the project.


What do you guys think so far? I'm extending the arms and fixing the thing that attaches the jewel to his head.

I honestly think Splash Woman would be a good addition to the roster, especially since we have little to no mm9 robot masters. One move could be based off of her ability to send out fish to assist her. For one of her other Robot Master weapons, She could use Water Wave (Wave Man's weapon if i'm correct).

Generally speaking, any robot master could be plausibly added, even the ones with the oddest designs (Centaurman, Astroman, Splash Woman, etc). The main problem is, of course, sprite availability.

Ah, the topic wasn't on the RMM board, no wonder I didn't find it.

I had saved both Hard Man and Spark Man, but I hoped i could save other like Crystal Man and Search Man.

I have already saved the Crystalman sprites.
I just copied and saved the Tomahawkman sprites.  There were lots more sprites scattered in different threads.  I got everything, there were way more sprites then I expected.
I don't have the Searchman sprites.

There were some early sprites for Solar Man (TGM), Blizzard Man (jfa) and Plant Man (Nilakantha). Excursion was also working on a Pharaoh Man. Trasgo7 had my old Centaur Man sprites, but I haven't heard of him since last time.

If I recall there were major color issues with Centaur Man and all work was stopped on him.

Not a color issue, but rather I didn't finish cleaning up his resized sprites.

Exactly lol. It's nice to have the big characters from every series but I doubt anyone who knows Cinnamon doesn't know Megaman. Cinnamon admittedly would be a nice addition.

The new Jewelman is here. Freeze Man leg chips and Elecman (modified) head. I can't believe I designed that chestplate without looking like a simpleton. I'll start watching spriting tutorials soon, before opening a thread.

I just worked on thee leg chips for now. If anyone can design the arms, it'd help. The head too since I had a thousand attempts before. I had no time so I just wanted to wrap it up for now. I'll do a thread when the chracters looks acceptable.



I have a built-from-scratch version of Galaxyman that isn't complete yet (It looks way better than Jewelman, trust me), but Nitroman, Brickman (we can rename him anytime) and 8-bit Megaman would be good ideas for the table.


P.S. I think we should make bosses, it's kind of the best type of enemy in MUGEN and definitely in Megaman.
P.S.2. I haven't seen anything of Quint, by the way.

* You should use Megaman's hands. As for the head, you can use the sprites from Super Adventure Rockman as a base.
* We have plenty of bosses, trust me.
* Quint is more or less done.

I'm happy with the bosses thing. Anyway yeah I know Quint is finished but I'm just saying that I saw nothing of him, Woodman, Fireman or Roll.

I can't fit the Megaman arms in, they're too big for Jewelman's chestplate. However though, the head looks pretty good now. I mixed the old head with Geminiman and Hardman (SAR).

The only reason I returned to the old one is because I rate Elecman's eyes. The legchips are impossible to find, the only robot master I can think of that has them is Freezeman, and they're just a few pixels bigger than Jewelman's feet.
