Dude, if this finally happens, I'm gonna crap myself in pure glee. I'm already having an extremely hard time containing my absolute bliss with Halo: Reach that I don't think I could handle Legends 3 being confirmed without voiding my bowels.

lol, I would love nothing more than Legends 3 to be made, but I don't think its going to happen. I mean they never brought over the psp ports of the first 2 games, nor brought them to psOne Classics and they've had more than enough time to do so. Capcom would rather tease people by making the Servbot cameo in games that have nothing to do with MML like Dead Rising 1 & 2, Lost Planet 2, and SFvsT than to go out and actually make MML3. I mean it could happen. They've proven anything can happen with the new versus games that came out, but they've waited far too long. This generation doesn't even know what MML is unless they found out via Tat vs Cap.

As for MM Universe, idk, it looks too Robot Chicken-ish for me to take seriously, I'm just in a wait n see mode for this game.

It just looks like a regular Megaman game with a new graphic style and more playable characters. Is that really it.?

We stopped checking for monsters under our bed when we realized they were inside of us.

It's a downloadable title that's kind of like a spiritual successor to MegaMan Powered Up. Were you guys expecting Clayfighters with MegaMan or something? :(|)

I dunno what you guys were expecting, but I think it looks great. That first teaser and the "Your world: Megafied" part had me nervous, but I loved MMPU and I think I'm gonna love this too.

I bet there is going to be more too it. They showed Ryu doing that spin kick, I bet Ryu will fight like Ryu, combos for moves and everything. They've barely given us a taste of what its going to be like. I wouldnt get totaly dissapointed yet.

Besides that, would you really want something completely different? The series is consistently similar because it works. It's fun, it makes players happy, there's no reason to drastically overhaul it. Go see how well that worked out for Bomberman.

Only problem is, every time they use non 8-bit graphics for Mega Man, the controls feel really sluggish and the gameplay is really slow-paced (This is the case in MM7, MM&B, and especially in MM8) and from the video, this one's no exception.  Also it looks like they took out the power slide AGAIN for this game, so it will probably be EVEN SLOWER than the 3 above.

I have no problem with trying something new, but this really doesn't look new or interesting at all.  It looks like the sloppy gameplay of MM2 combined with MM&B graphics... *sigh*  *Iceman ThumbsDown!*

Mega Man Universe Details From PAX

A handful of Mega Man Universe info just hit the web thanks to PAX attendees from The Mega Man Network. Mainfinger and Gelg had some time to chat in up with a Capcom rep about the game, exposing several details in the process. A quick summary of the info below:

-Subtle implication that there's more than one type of play style; trailers only showed the "tip of the iceberg."
-Customization is a big part of the game. Capcom rep. strongly hinted at a stage editor of sorts.
-Ryu, as well as the three Mega Man variants, are confirmed as playable characters. Hints of a large roster of playable characters.
-Not only do the three Mega Men differ in appearance (Mega Man, Bad Box Art Mega Man and Rockman), they each have their own play styles and abilities. Bad Box Art Mega Man, for instance, can fire two shots at a time.
-The "angry" Mega Man was designed by Masafumi Kimoto. Why is he so angry? That's just Kimoto's style, apparently.
-Although the trailers made it seem like MMU is largely influenced by Mega Man 2, there's a "very good possibility" we'll be seeing content from other Mega Man games.
-Mega Man Universe not making it to Wii has to do with the file size limitations of Nintendo's WiiWare service. Capcom noted they would like to be able to support a Wii version, but couldn't at this time.
-Target release date of Spring 2011.
-"Everything we've shown will make more sense" come Tokyo Game Show, according to the rep.

I think the reason Megaman is a different character then Rockman would be a reference to the american cartoon version? Mega Man has a muscular look so....
