MIA & Sad Times
« on: September 11, 2007, 05:20:38 PM »
Some people will have noticed I have been MIA again, my PC is now gone, finally over-heated beyond repair. Also the HD data lost, normally I would be upset, but I really dont give a toss at the moment, as Im finding things hard.
My Grandad (Grampy) passed away & it´s the funeral monday, Im just devasted, we were very close and he was a man I RESPECTED more than anyone on this planet. He served in the Parachute regiment in the army.  So  I wont be around  much. Im using my PS3 to get online. SPAN.

I'm sorry to hear that, SPAN. My first real loss was this Aug. 1st, what a dreadful night. My Grandma passed away, she was very important to me. I cried for days, but she was a very strong person. I remember her saying if anything happens to her then to have money (she always gave me money), but that's not what I wanted... I wanted her presence (she knew I loved her to death). I know she wants me to live a happy life, so that's what imma do... I still think of her everyday though. The necklace she bought me, I never take off.

Just remember, they want you to live a happy life.

I am so sorry for your loss Span, it must be really hard for you to not only lose your PC but a loved one as well. I feel your loss and pain cuz I lost my mother about two years ago and she was the most important person in the world to me, losing her just crushed me. Time will heal all wounds and I can understand if wanted to leave the scene altogether. I wish you the very best and hang in there Span, you will be alright  ;)

My condolences to you and your family Span... :(

I think I have an idea how you feel too because my Grandfather was for me like the best father I never had and I lost him on 2005.

And never forget to keep the best memories you have from him with you every day of your life cause those are more value than all the gold on Earth...

I'm sorry to hear about your hard time, Span. Especialy for your grandfather. Computers can be replaced, but people can't. I think I might have mentioned to you once before of my loss of both of mine around the time I first joined the boards. I can completley sympathize with what you're going through, and I wish you the best.

I'm sorry to hear about your losses, Span./ Although we all have computer problems and that can be dealt with in time, losing a loved one is something that cannot be resolved with a simple replacement. You should take time to grieve for your lost grandfather with the rest of your family. That is most important right now. Infinity will be here & waiting for you return.

i´m so sorry to hear that SPAN,remember:try to be strong and you´ll overcome this eventually...You actually had time to be with your grandpa for a while.
One of my two grandfathers(on my dad´s side) died years before i was born,so i never knew him... :'(
Anyway,as stated before by nick09(i believe) we need to have in mind that this is natural to happen...???
It´s part of the cycle of life: ppl will die, that´s sad of course(happened in an unexpected way to me while i was in high school, when a friend of mine was practically run over by a bus.Cried like a baby... :'() but let´s remember that everyday a new person is born...which is one of the happiest things to ever happen(eg.when my lil sister was born, arround 8 years ago, tears of joy were coming out that time)
That´s all,i let it out now...bottomline:sorry for your loss,a lot of us here know exactly how you feel, just take your time to get over it and everything will be better...
As you always stated at the end of your posts:
KIND REGARDS,kpt25(i know, you are not in the mood on putting...:P)
