ok this is the first part of my character creation tutorial, its as basic as can get just follow the directions in/around each buble
since it is the first part that means this isnt obviously finished yet, i will update it every few days when i have the time

this basically explains how to start with your character, i will get into palletts and codestuff later

UPDATE 7/16/07
Pallets
untill the last picture the order will go menu > dialog box > pallet result
let me know if this seems unclear to you

Step one: go to decrease color in the menu (256)
Step two: make sure these are selected as in the example
Step 1 + 2 result: the pallet should be looking similar to this ie a crapton of colors
Now it seems to me that there are way way too many colors on the pallet, so we should fix that
Step three: go to the decrease color yet again, this time select X color
Step four: 50 colors seems about right, remember it will vary from character to character
These Last three steps go together
