Alright guys, this is the 360 side of the Infinity SF4 tourney.

If you want to enter, just send me a PM and I'll add your name in for this one.

As for rules, personally I'd just go with the Gamestop rules since they're right there, but we'll see.

*RULES*

- All characters except Gouken and Seth are allowed.
- 99 second matches
- All matches set to best out of 5 (meaning you have to win 3 rounds to win)
- Fight two best out of 5 games (NEW RULE)
- Double Elimination
- You must report to me saying who won and who lost so that I may adjust the brackets accordingly
- You must have fun
- If you can please record the matches and post in this section. I like most ppl want to see some action too.

FOR THOSE WHO WILL BE BUSY:

Don't worry about not being on that day (this only applys to those who have jobs and work that day and wont be able to be on until later) as long as you are signed up for the tournament you will get your chance to play. If a lot of problems stir up meaning people not being able to play then we can just have it as though who can play on that day play while others play on a different day. Also another thing we will do to make it fair for who fights who is after the final bracket(s) have been made every one will choose a certain number for example, 1 through 11 or however many people are on the brackets. That way it will be easier and more fair plus we can make it odds with odds and evens with evens ok. So just post what number you want and you will be group with odds if you chose an odd number or evens if you chose an even number.

we should be able to use unlockable characters, just not akuma or seth.

there's really no way to enforce not letting people change their buttons.

why not akuma?if that's the case we should then ban the top tier characters overall(unlockable and the basic ones)
IMO,only The boss shouldn't be allowed,as he's cheap

no akuma is able to be used. No gouken or seth. Due to seth being ultra cheap and gouken having an infinite. Trust me when i say seth is god tier when used the right way and so is gouken.

I dont entirely agree with those saying Seth is god tier, I mean ok hes got a nice moveset and all that but he does terrible damage, takes damage like a b!tch and stuns incredibly fast. Plus the moves borrowed from all the characters are watered down in priority...but thats just me. I say all characters minus Seth, and unlockables besides Gouki. Standard arcade roster

the only real gripe I've had with akuma was that his raging demon has insane priority from what I've seen. like, I've seen him catch people in the middle of their ultras with it.

no i do not because Seth really isnt that great, he lacks in priority and has low health, low attack and stuns easily. But again im only helping to make the rules, im not the only one with ideas. We will just wait and see what rules come up.

Gouken has an infinite?! Hopefully Capcom is aware...

yes they are aware which is why he is banned from tourneys. seth is THAT good. trust me. u faced against a CPU not a real player that is real good with him. hell give me seth and ill show u that low health doesnt mean a thing at all. i mean other characters have low health but still excel at puttin the beat down on opponent....Gen....Gouki....Rose anyone? all i need to use is 3 moves that can make me invincible. he has the range of dhalsim the projectile followup of guile with the grab range of zangief so ultras are easily grabbed out of. oh and then the suck in move that u cant block that guarantees a free hit for the cpu...for a player that becomes a full combo ending in an ultra with pure ease. so therefore no seth or gouken. everyone else is fine. the arcade stuff stays at the arcade...no offense but this is not that place. gouki is a fair character so y would u want to exclude him?

But if we want to put together a "tourney" we should try and make it somewhat legit. I mean at evo, they sometimes use consoles but still use regular arcade rules.

Btw Seth loses

of the plus' from the character moves he has. Guiles sonic boom gives him almost immediate recover time, Seth doesnt, Seths grab range for 360 is

smaller then giefs. I agree that really good players could make him deadly, I mean thats what SF4 is about, but im saying you would also have to be careful. Low damage and big stun can equal a world of hurt

Hes actually good, you could make it a good distance with him, hes also fun to use

agreed dan is real good in this one. i think its because his kouryken doesnt suck completely any more or should i say it isnt as hard to use as before like in the alpha days. hahaha reminds me....i was playing dan right and someone had fei long and they did his ultra combo while i was in focus attack mode so i instantly did his focus cancel ran away from all the rekkas

just barely and on feis last punch i did dans ultra...EPIC win!!! now that i was i had recorded. me and the person i was playing burst out laughing for a good two hours straight off and on. he dropped the controller and hasnt played for a week now.
