The VDMSound Project - The Solution for Mugen's MP3 Problem?

Everybody knows mugen sometimes can have sound problems... I came across this site http://sourceforge.net/projects/vdmsound/
when looking for a solution for the mp3 error. Anybody used this? Should I?
