hello,
I'd like to run a donald char on my mugen, but I'm unable to..

%n in the cns file causing the issue...here's the cns:

pls note that swapping display to clipboard thing to null makes the char dumb in the game. so any fix other than that is more than welcome..

My usual fix is i'll just go into their .def folder & delete the "mugenversion = 1.0 or 1.1" text & save it & it works just fine. give that a shot. If that doesn't work then try to look for the forum that shows you how to upgrade chars to work for 1.0 & 1.1

I see there's no mugenversion text in def file
and I've looked into the other related threads. most of the solutions come as replacing the clipboard thing; but as I've said the char becomes dumb and has no attack on the opponent.

basically these "%96u%n" "%156u%n" and lots of similar codes causing the trouble. replacing n with d and f generates errors too :(
