I've had all sorts of ideas for the Sub-Mariner, including pitting him against other heroes as a villain. Still, when the time came, I couldn't resist turning Nappa into Warlord Krang, Mystique into Lady Dorma, and the rest is history!

Nothing all that elaborate for this one, but it was nice to work with Marvel's First Family again!

Nothing really special about this one, but I've been unhappy with my previous Iron Man covers (I'll be remaking one of them soon) and I wanted to make one that I though actually came out decently.

Also, since our only Penguin in MUGEN is based on the animated series, why not go for a whole cover in that style?

This is a major improvement over what came before the last time I did a TOS cover. The Mandarin was created using Hellgate sprites from Vengeance as well as Hawkeye sprites. Bucky is a rather blatant Jason Todd palette swap, but it was fun to work him in.

The trailer for the recently-released Bloodshot movie got me curious about the comic book - and here's my latest cover as a result, hearkening back to the early days of Valiant! (I had several other action-oriented versions in mind, but I couldn't come up with anything interesting.)

Next up, I just can't keep Thor out of the Silver or Bronze Age, can I...

Lastly, a far better Hellboy cover than my first attempt - and one that gave me an excuse to use this stage:

I originally wanted Spawn fighting someone on this cover, and I went looking for the old CrusaderCast sprites for other Spawn characters (particularly the Redeemer), but since that doesn't seem to be an option, I opted for something more artistic - and frankly, more similar to actual Spawn covers.

Time to get back to DC! This cover went through a lot of evolution before the final product. First it was gonna be a Green Lantern cover, then a GL cover with Captain Atom guest-starring, and then for the sake of variety, I decided to give Cap the cover solo.

I couldn't decide which Spider-Man villain to use for my latest cover, even after Mysterio's release. Sooooo... (There was originally going to be text on here, but it covered up too much.)

Another Golden Age cover! I used a Vision palette for Spy Smasher, adding the goggles by hand. A pretty basic cover, but most Spy Smasher covers were like that.

I've been wanting to do another Kyle Rayner cover for a while, and I'm pretty happy with how this one turned out.

I came across these Batman sprites while messing around with palettes and had to do something with them.

Please lose that Robin sprite and let me know where you came across it. It's from our Jason Todd char and Unlimited's work is not for others to use save when authorized.

I don't remember where I came across it - I've been sprite collecting for years. However, I've redone the cover (I think it looks more dramatic this way anyway.)

I've had this one in mind for a while - it was just a question of what Superman would be facing.

I've yet to figure out how to create my own color-separated palette, but this test run gave me enough to work with in order to pull this look off.

Just for a change of pace, I thought I'd give a vintage-style horror comic cover a try.

Two new covers!

Dear lord, did my original Legion of Super Heroes cover suck. Fortunately, I found a way to make Mordru out of Lee and Gurdaf, and with a different background for more action, I'm all set!

Featuring:

Havok as Cosmic Boy
Invisible Woman as Saturn Girl
Quicksilver as Lightning Lad
Havok as Brainiac 5
Superman Beyond as Ultra Boy and Wildfire
Scarlet Witch as Shadow Lass
Regina as Light Lass
Piccolo as Chameleon Boy
Superman Beyond as Mon-El

A little more basic than some of the others, especially the LOSH one, but given what it took to turn the Vision into Chronos, I think I can ease up on myself over that.
