Title: Lifebars don't appear

I've followed the steps correctly trying to install this lifebar: https://gamebanana.com/guis/32387

I've been trying to replace lifebars that came with a screenpack I downloaded. Whatever I try, the lifebars won't show. The sound that came with it works but nothing else.

Anyone know what the problem might be?

they can be misplaced in the sff so check their position, or they can just be 16 million colors, while they're supposed to be 256 colors, or their sprite number is wrongly stated in the def file... there can be many answers actually

I got it working in a 1.1 mugen, I'm pretty sure it was because the screenpack I was using was 1.0
