here's and update: I made my own custom mugen stage with cybasters automatic stage creation tool. It's only a single sprite, but it looks nice.

The bear's name is Boskov and he is from The Evil Con Carne Show which used to be part of billy and mandy but, was later split off into its own show which didn't last very long cause people liked the grim adventures of billy and mandy better so they just ended up taking general scar and made him a regular character on the grim adventures of billy and mandy. Also yo forgot the brain in the jar on top of his head which was Con Carne's brain.

Oh... that's what you were talking about. No I don't use his method of picture to sprite conversion.
I use paint.net and paint to do my picture to sprite conversions.
It takes a long time, but it's the best method for me so far.
I basically convert the image I want into a total black and white picture, and then I begin the long process of converting the image into a picture. Which I showed my method under my sprite.

And this may seem ironic, but Spooky also had the same problem with his first attempt at Dr.Strange (his first initial edit was over Buyogs GL, but Buyog was very cool about it).
So... apparently Dr.Strange is cursed in regards to mugen. :-??
I wish Spooky77 didn't abandon Dr.Strange (maybe he hasn't), because he's one of my favorite marvel characters.

If you do a normal sized edit on the old sprite, mention that you used "creator's name"'s sprite as a base, maybe post it next to your work.
It's always good etiquette to ask if you can use it, I think giving proper credit is even more important and can be done even if you don't have the creators e-mail or get no response.
I think Vitamin is showing good etiquette. Minor edits like this could be along the lines of:
Dear "creator's name"',
I used your sprite edit on "sprite character", here is the one I mean. {img/}
I liked the work you did, and was inspired to my own version, change, iteration.
Here is my edit. {img/} Here is where I posted it (on the post proper credit is given) {link/}.
I will take it down if you do not want me to use it.
I'd love to hear your opinion on my version.

The shading is too stiff, and a lot of your colors have shades that are too close together, specifically the white / light blue.

ah sounds groovey man. Yeh im curous to see how youd sprite em. Ive seen only like 2 very good Ghost rider spritings that i can remember. One was a KOF style one and the other was Wucash...

I wasn't too happy about how simplisitic Spawns cape looked in my earlier post, so I redid it, and added the chains around his right bicep. I'm still unhappy with how the cape looks, but Veni-vidi-vici.

I like all of your work. the dr Starange looks awesome. Although, the Doomsday, I do not care for. His upper half looks great, I just think the legs are way too small. Makes the character look awkward

Your reference sprite was made by Axkeeper, he was trying to copy the DC animated universe style.I actually just met Axkeeper. He posted a comment at CVG and was impressed I was able to almost practically copy his sprite style.
It looks fine by my view. The style you were copying was suppose to be the way he looked in the Doomsday film, not the comic version.That was the general Idea of attempting this sprite, and in the animated Doomsday movie, Doomsday did have some very long legs. He also had long legs in his appearance in Justice League the Animated Series.
*But I'll see which set of legs looks better on him later, and I'll probably post my other sprites later on too.

Thanks for the comment, but I'm more impressed with your terry character than any of my sprites. I've been meaning to do daredevil for a while now, but when I do post him I'll make sure to include that costume.

Thanks man 8). Heck if i ever get as good as you with spriting id do a bit more to em. But yeh indeed keep that Shadow Land daredevil thought in mind. A mugen character based on him wouldnt be bad at all man

great work man. Urien is the base if I'm not mistaken right? I only know cause I recognize the stance but other than that you can't even really see the Urien in him you really did an excellent job to turn this into Dormammu. It looks fantastic :)
thanks. Urien is indeed the base. I almost gave up on this sprite several times because it was becoming a headache, but it came out great.
I was actually going to use black heart for the base, but that was too time consuming.

Both sprites are great. Something is off on Daredevil though. I think the torso is too small, stretch it out a bit and it might look better. Can't say for sure, just know something is off. Still looks good though.
EDIT: Noticed something else but I'm not sure if this was on purpose or not. One of DD's boots seems to have a color or two all its own from the rest of the pal on him but can barely tell there's a boot on the other leg.

yeh i just heard about the she hulk bit yesterday after i posted the she hulk video on my FB page. but i never saw it.
