The idea is cool, but I think it needs more work:
- the stage is static
- the rug doesn't follows the perspective of the floor
- the shadows are unrealistic

I tried to make the room similar to the one in the games, but with realistic life colours. The shadows was a decision i have made because outside the window is sunny and i make them bit larger. (You can correct that if you do not like this one). I know the stage need more but i just have no more ideas about it.
And i do not know why this forum does not display the video.

The shadow been cast from the window is different from the shadow been cast into the scene. Take a look at the purple character over the desk (the light comes from the right side), but the window is at its LEFT side, casting shadows agains a light source?. How this could be possible?
The table receives light from the RIGHT side, but cast shadows towards the right side?

Also, take a look at the bed angle - it makes he bed comes from inside the wall
