Title: Red (Pokemon) Character

While developing Nintendo vs. Capcom, I have wanted to do this for a long time now, and that is to include Red from Pokemon as a character. Now of course, Red won't be the one fighting, it will be a Pokemon of his. At the moment, I am really on par of two Pokemon, ether Charizard or Pikachu. Charizard's ideal character will be rather simple, as he is pretty complete as is, apart from a couple of things, and Red just fill in the spot (inspired from Pokemon Origins), or have Red alongside Pikachu for a more original moveset, (following on Pokemon Adventures).

Anyways, I am open to suggestions, thing is, I may find it easier to have Red be with Charizard, but I think that the Pokemon Adventures Red with Pikachu would make more of an original moveset. Also with Red, I want him as a background character, like Rush with Mega Man in MvC, and if you know how to do this, I need to know asap, because that is what is most important to me. That's a really nice idea. I was trying to do Gold by using Explotaro/The Typhlosion using May or Dawn as bases...

But I want to see Red, with his Pikachu, a Squirtle, an Ivysaur and of course, a Charizard!
