Hey, how where you able to use character sprites to represent Single, Simul, and Turns? Is it a matter of revising the coding in the main files? Curious, as I've never messed with coding screenpacks.

thats really Hloader turf on that. lol. i still learning the whole sp designing and some coding processes myself here and there till i fully know how to do my own. I am not sure the actual method but can ask Hloader at the Crom spot in the thread there. he is cool with giving answers on which methods of coding he uses for stuff. That is how i found out about the "witchcraft" cursor method and tutorial.

Ah, that's cool. No need to press Hloader, though, especially if it's a private thing. Just that it's the first time I've seen those options customized the way they normally are...and they came out looking great, too!

updated redo on the big port ( scratch that version Rage, i will have a new psd for that to break off to you when i get the new one :thumbsup:) and as well added the lifebar ports.  the other fonts and added power isnt completed yet.

Just seeing the final trailer. Wow, gotta say you got one helluva ambitious project. Roster is amazing. Heck, didn't know that Edward Elric and Vash were slated to be in the game!

 :thumbsup: :thumbsup: thanx Sabaki homie! appreciate the kind words man. very much. yeah its a huge roster indeed. I found somethin cool to cut some of the time down finally so that will begin very shortly. That final trailer was just the final promo. The real deal gameplay trailers and such will be under way with the new styles and upgrades to stuff once some characters are done up to speed to at least an alpha/beta state and startup.  The gameplay traiolers will have a cool company style look to them. so this is a spoiler giveaway imma show.:


Done by excahm with the cropped images and quality upgrades to them . I am taking some ideas from other kinds of Company games to implement these into the project for the characters gameplay visuals.

oh and def gots to have my boys Vash and Edward Elric in the game.  ^:)^ . I am an anime fan and for a very long time i always wanted to see a lot of the characters in the game in mugen before i was even trying to sprite and was just the usual casual mugen goer. lol. So i decided to get off my butt and learn and try some stuff  in new sprite ways, interactive stages and quality images and all. Gonna try to do a good job as best can man. Oh you already know what i am trying to do and def i shall hit you up and any advices and even help you could give is very wanted and valuable bro.  ^:)^  ::salute:: Sabaki.

Man, you & the others got some great ideas. Gameplay trailers with scenes like that is real killer  :thumbsup: . Good to see you got a lot of talented peeps working with you.

Like your taste in anime, for most of these are what I grew up with. Definitely a lot of dream matches are gonna become a reality once the project is done  :w00t:

Big thanx to Rage for the awesome assist with the image quality and extra cropping.  ^:)^ ^:)^ to Royalty!
i hooked this one up for the gameplay trailer screen and will use this as his main port for both lifebars , vs, and big port/select box . now needs the red aura added and the name font added.



i got bunch more to be done.  :thumbsup:

Here is a first look into the new revision of the Anime Battle Royal screenpack. something not shown in this one yet is the Winners screen ( which is already in it but with one port so far) and using sample character to show off the actual animated lifebars and port images. more images have been added at select screen, title screen announcer added ( thanx Jodafro aka Verydannyboy) and there is more new cursor sounds added. new style select boxes, new design on right player side of how those big ports are and vs screen as well. terry is the sample of the new ones. Soon in some time, some more vids of the sp since its at a good 60% now and as well characters that are getting done up in new style. that terry is my homeboy Demonkai's using as a demo and ABR terry will be total different in looks and gameplay with new style. Big thanx to Hloader with doing the awesome work on the sp , Rage helpin me on select boxes new look. thanx my friend. V- nix for the first cut designs of the Sp. I hope you all enjoy.

i will reupload the longer better one tomorrow, its more select screen images and the winner screen. first time using bandicam,. forgive me.  :P

 :D def the voice fitted right on in there. I am gonna try and see whats poppin myself and remove the default ones and slide in either the sounds i was given that will work ( and maybe have that echo effect added to them too lol ) by you Jodafro. Might need a slight new set at some point  once i get the new good "rounds" fonts all good y in it.
I got the ports under goodness going so thats gonna be all taken care of, its mostly for ya Excham bro to help hookin up some of the gameplay trailer ports if ya want and also a second pair of hands on a few stages. You know which ones i got in mind bro... ;) lol. I got that post too at the site on how to add the "glow" to the characters images , so i def gonna try that. Later on at some point i might need another pair of extra hands on some ingame ports but i am gonna wait till those rounds of characters are gettin done up so i can begin their files for mugen. I am focusing right now on just the first sets of the roster . :thumbsup:  Once i am done some of these characters sprites sheets its CODING TIME! ::salute::

Short vid clip of some of the other images on menu screen , lifebar port animations and the (alpha ) design of the ABR Training stage. Using the test Terry for the port animation and how it works . HR ABR Training stage in development  and this early concept will have more refinement and additions. Black  monitor screen is for animated images and or video.

The main Boss of the game is an all new original character i created that fits in the backstory of the Fatal Fury motion pictures perspective.
this is how old look from before.

He now has a brand new look getting done ( and a new main anime more like Portrait...this will be another  port too) and will also show him and some other characters during sometime this year finally. Vid format only.
to understand where this guy fits in at here is the back story i created to tie him in based on the actual story and linage of himself and in the series .

ok and here is some more i wrote in same thread as well :

 i researched the history of the Stroheims and Gaudeamus bloodlines very carefully before i came up with long ago for the project. he was actually the first character i came up with and builded upon for a whole game to wanna be done.  He shares some moves like Krauser ( Blitz Ball, and Kaiser Wave) but differently and a bit more akin to the anime style than games style.. I am taking some moves seen from the Fatal fury motion picture anime of what Lacorn could do when wearing that armor full body in godlike effect, and adding some of my own thoughts for stuff as well. With Kravix i really wanted him to go with the he wanted to test more the full power of the Armor since he is already confident in his own skills. Thats his whole motivation for the battle royal, to test the full power that the Armor of Mars grants. So those moves will be upped more.
