It's the Project X Cable.
-
He will be released this year when I re-release the rest of my stuff on Mugen 1.0. :thumbsup:
He is also playable in the X-Men: Second Coming game.
-
There's a slight problem. You have both the Win Quote pic and the team mate face portrait in "turns" set to 9000, 2. So the big win screen displays when you play turns. The rest of the screen pack rocks though. Especially the life bars.
-
Good catch, this is the first release of the Project X lifebars outside of the Project X full game and I missed that element, updating...
Edit: Here are the replacement files for the data folder for anyone who already downloaded this.
Replacement Files (http://www.sendspace.com/file/3zeem7)
The full download has been fixed too.
-
Ah, finally. The screens look awesome, but my DL speed sucks. Going to have to go to the library and DL it and give it a shot.
-
very nice, thanks
-
I found one minor issue (having to do with turns mode):

-
Thanks, here is the quickfix, I'll upload a new file as well:
Open the data/fight.def file and change the following p1 and p2 numbers
p1.teammate.ko.scale = 1,1
p1.teammate.ko.offset = 196,57
p2.teammate.ko.offset = 440,57
p2.teammate.ko.scale = 1,1
-
Cool, thanks for the fix.
-
Thanks for posting when you found the error rather than not, now everyone benefits. :cool
-
I have an issue. My game loads player 2 first instead of player one first.
-
Could you elaborate?
-
Is it possible to retain the default elecbyte hi-res mugen lifebars that come with basic mugen and keep everything else in this IMT screenpack? Or would that be a big undertaking? I tried swapping fight files, but the default lifebars are oversized or undersized.
While I like the current XSC lifebars, I also like what elecbyte put in there and was wondering if it were possible to switch them around from time to time.

It sounds like you know how to switch life bars so my first question is, "Mugen 1.0 comes with two versions of their life bars, did you copy over the correct life bars?"
-
I want these lifebars:
(http://img830.imageshack.us/img830/2559/mugen011.png)
But when I edit system.def so that the line that reads:
fight = fight.def
instead reads:
fight = mugen1/fight.def
I get this:
(http://img88.imageshack.us/img88/5163/mugen012.png)
My fear is that these lifebars aren't going to be transferable, at least without having to manually open up the fight.sff file and exporting each image as a .pcx file and importing them into the IMT's Red fight.sff. I actually already tried this (and its all in there), but there is still a size issue. I get closer when I try to scale things, but while the x-dimension is an exact .5, the y-dimension seems more like a .6666667 deal, which means the scaling things doesn't look as good (not to mention the headache of doing all that).
Anyways, trying to figure out if there's an easier way to make this work. :)
-
Made some icons, just because. (http://www.zumodrive.com/share/ez2HM2E0OG)

Everyone involved in creating the Red Screen Pack did a phenomenal job - thank you all.
I made an alternate/custom Sound Pack for the Red version of the IMT Screen Pack and wanted to share it with whoever may find it to their liking.
I did some custom sound clips and some editing of various soundtracks and movie/TV/Game scores. I did my best to make all the various tracks have a synergy and work well with the images you see in the Red Screen Pack. Oh yes, the opening loading screen with the silhouette of Ryu preparing to unleash a hadouken now has an appropriately epic score to complement it. 8-}
Oh, and play a few fights with the new sounds added.
Enjoy!

Just drop the folders inside your RED Screen Pack main folder and this will add new sounds for the loading screen, title screen, character select screen, vs screen, and victory screen.
-
Hey Acey you should announce this on other places, I missed out on this release for a while.
Anyway nice to see you update this, thanks.

Try setting the localcord to the localcord the screen pack is using

I'm having a big issue running the blue screenpack or red for that matter, in the 1280x720 setting. The images are cropped and distorted, and do not display properly.
Here's the title screen and you can see how off the image is as the "Survival" option I've selected only has a portion of the top showing: (http://i40.tinypic.com/25ip3xl.jpg) In general, the entire lower half of the screen is cropped for some reason.
The stages are cropped as well, and special power meters -- for example like Lobo's or Atom's -- don't display properly onscreen either. Here's a pic of Atom and of the 6 Atom symbols that should be showing on the left side of the screen, only 2 and a half are visible: (http://i42.tinypic.com/r8cahi.jpg)
As you can imagine, this is horribly annoying and I'd greatly appreciate any help fixing whatever the issue is.
-
That's 'cause the screenpack only runs on 640X480 Resolution.
-
Obviously it doesn't only run in that setting or I wouldn't have been able to take screen shots.
Not to mention, when you unpack a fresh red or blue screen pack, the second video setting is in 1280x720 by default. So clearly it can and does run in 1280x720.
-
Okay let's go...
1) The screenpack is ONLY designed to work at 640x480
2) Sure it runs on 1280x720, but since it's not meant for that resolution it won't display well at all.
3) Also just because the screenpack isn't meant for HD doesn't mean Mugen will crash for it, it will just display incorrectly.

Thought I'd pop back across here considering I'm banned from Guild.
I have a question too regarding this screenpack which is really good by the way. I was wondering if it is possible to change category select like you could with EVE. A lot of those categories I don't even have in Mugen such as Transformers, Eternal Fighter Zero and many more?
Peace out.

Yes, let us go:
1. WRONG. Any 4:3 resolution I've tried, works and displays absolutely fine. From 800x600 all the way thru 1400x1050 - which is HD by the way.
2. Wrong again. It's a widescreen displaying issue - not a HD resolution issue at all.
3. It has absolutely nothing to do with HD, and everything to do with not being able to display a proper widescreen image.
Mugen is apparently unable to display a correct widescreen resolution unless the content was created specifically for widescreen. In other words, it's not just these screenpacks - it's any Mugen, period. You cannot use stages and characters made for non-widescreen resolution on ANY Mugen without having display issues. And no, using your video card to stretch a 4:3 resolution into widescreen, does not count as a widescreen resolution.
-
I believe he meant Widescreen=HD in those statements. Not many people have the discontinued 4:3 HDTVs (that I do have), so 16:9 is generally considered the only HD, and somethings (eg game consoles) don't even support them.

@Zantetsuken, sure, just open the SFF file in Fighter factory, remove the file with all the category titles, edit that graphic then add it back in, save and close.
@ Lantern, oxe was right about #1 and #2.

First off, did you read his post?
The very first thing he said was this: Okay let's go...
1) The screenpack is ONLY designed to work at 640x480
And that is just simply not true. 640x480 is a 4:3 resolution, but that is not the only 4:3 resolution that works perfectly for Mugen. ANY 4:3 resolution will work fine - NOT just 640x480.
Also, HD video simply refers to any resolution higher than SD (Standard Definition).
720×480 is the SD widescreen variant of 640x480. That won't display properly in Mugen either, and it's far below what you consider to be HD.
So, Mugen displays any resolution fine - as long as it's a 4:3 resolution.
It just can't do widescreen resolutions correctly unless content was specifically created for it.
-
Again I think (not psychic or the original poster) he meant 640x480 as 4:3. It doesn't really matter, as you are right; MUGEN runs at any resolution right through 720p.
Like I said, I do happen to use a 4:3 HD TV, and all the stuff works just fine.

i can't seem to get this to work, i installed everything properly, and in the cfg file i changed the motif to motif = data/IMT02/system.def but nothing happens

You changed it in the wrong place. I highlighted in red what needs to be done, remove the semicolon and add a semicolon.

-
yeh any help with adding different catagorys or changing them?
-
*Bump* In case you're still wondering you have to manually edit them from the system.sff
It's not to complicated to open the image in Photoshop and adding your own text to it.
-
Nice acey ^^(PM)^
-
Is there anyway to remove this selection screen and keep all the other features of the pack? i would like to have everything but i dont want the selection screen with divisions...
-
Hello, i need some help, im actually comming back to mugen, resurrected old files + get updated here, im using this screen pack and my problem its quite simple, using mode2 of the screenpack, i cant see the Cell im moving to choose a character, doesnt highlight. Any idea?
-
I decided to change from blue to red screen back. Now I forgot how to do some stuff. How do you stretch full screen again? When I put full screen that 640/480 is still small but the rest of the full screen is black. Everytime I try to change the video is still stays the same?
How do you stretch again, nice there is no stretch option in mugen.cfg
-

Hi Acey. I'm currently using this screen pack and using Option 3. I've been trying to add cartoon characters in the select.def file but the characters doesn't show up in the game. I was wondering what I'm doing wrong? Thanks.
