to me, cable in MVC2 was always kinda like the punisher or nick fury with a metal arm and laser/energy weapons instead of ballistic ones

Thats because the first appearance of Punisher happened in Amazing Spider-Man #129

he always kept tryna catch spidey maybe a intro or victory ending would be nice. or if he fights spidey he has a comic bubble that says "ima finally catch you."
