Spark Man

Tomahawk Man was too hard to sprite... so i decided to go with an easy design character...

and due to a friend's like... i decided to go with Spark Man :D

and here is!



here is what the idle goes:

as for voice acting i'm thinking on give him voice like Pzycho from Who Framed Roger Rabbit or Ripper Roo from Crash Bandicoot series  :-??

suggestions, ideas, help and more sprites welcome!  :P

the idea is cool, but I think it needs more work.

this is what i must go...

and this is my short story on how Spark Man works and acts:

When he was working on the Electrical Plants, he was like a normal robot... but when he was kidnapped and reprogramed by Wily, accidentally a bolt strike his system. And now not only fights with more shocks, he is driven to his Pzyshockrazy-Madness if he uses too much power. acting like Ripper Roo.

and i need a request...

Can someone send me a clear (not BGM) wav of Ripper Roo laughing or a clear wav of that Hyena laugh from the Lady and the Tramp?

You don't have that much sprited, and you're already thinking about voices?

Besides, I don't think any of the voices suggested fits him at all.

It's because...

1.- I allways get Spark Man with a psychodelic and crazy personality... (based on Pzycho and Ripper Roo) just to rivaling Elec Man...
2.- i'm kinda a bit inspired on his Megamix reactions...

Looks good so far, I hope you can eventually finish him.  At least this time the waste looks easier to do.  My suggestion is to do the run sprites soon, after completing that you'll have like every waste angle you need for the rest of the character.

Im with Exelord after your comment on the walking frames. I hope someone comes to your rescue. Tho you need to practice. This is the second time the torso has caused you problems.

I agree.  This is why I suggested you try working on the run frames so you can have all the torso angles your going to need.

Since you're using SAR's sprites as a base, you might want to make a separate sheet with only the torso poses (without head, arms and legs), so you can get all poses necessary. Then you do the same with the head. This will make the entire spriting proccess way easier.
