Another question is: How to implement Hulk Buster?


Because only the first color/armor is able to use it - this is why the first armor have red legs, its the Model 13 Modular Armor
Since I don't want to give him a second hyper move or ability, the best idea would exchange the Unibeam hyper for the HulkBuster transformation only in this armor?

If so, the HulkBuster would be a secondary mode. On that mode, his stats are closer to Hulk ones (in fact, closer to Thor ones), new specials would be added and there would be another question: Should the move last until it dies (so he can use a new Hyper move) or should it use the Hyper move to revert back to IronMan?

Think about ballance. I can't give Iron Man all the abilties (specially when I have plans to make each armor more unique).
Any thoughts?

Well, if none of the other armors can  be "turned off", than this one shouldnt be able to revert either. That way you can make it more unique by adding another hyper /state/ability, for example.

DC gave me the best idea for this situation:

  • Hulkbuster's alternate specials don't use any extra MP, but nothing stops the drain - you can't gain MP back with any means short of outside help or an item pickup.
  • Tony is all but invulnerable. He doesn't flinch from incoming hits and takes no HP damage at all, but does take a proportionate MP loss.
  • When MP runs out, the Hulkbuster armor explodes, and you're back to normal Iron Man (with 0 MP).

I think those rules would make a nice balance between rewarding skill (Hulkbuster is limited time, but a good player can keep it going longer), and it being a powerful hyper mode worthy of using.

Things got very busy here at my end but I finally was able to finish doing some enhancements and bug fixes, after one month:

• No more BLAST bug. I've had to go MANUALLY through more than 400 entries and hope we won't see this bug again.
• Fixed a bug in all characters BURN animation.
• Claw now have a freeze map (I forgot to set it before).
• Improvements in some characters animations, speed and damage.
• Fine tuning of some bosses and enemies.
• Better fire fx (based on my work on Mugen's Fire Man character).

(same applies to Brand's blue flames.

I hope to be able to release a bug fix before the new year, but I am not sure. Unless I've found some game breaker bug, this is the last update before a new release, with new stuff.

Hey Unc i mean't to address this to you before but i kept forgetting :( But i found a bug with Hammerhead. Everytime i go to do a grapple move against him it goes through him or doesn't hurt him. Like with Red Hulks thunderclap everytime i do it it just goes right through him or doesn't animate properly
it's usually the (grab :6) command that it does it on.

No i know the escapes are intentional. I was talking about DURING the hitting animation.

A new update is coming up on December 17. This will be the last update of this version.


In 2018, we will have a new release (version), several new features (new characters, new scenarios, new enemies ...)

And we have another update for this project. What is new?

• LIVE COUNT fixed. Now your lives won't resets between the stages (which makes the game way easier)
• New 2 palettes for Brand (Alpha Flight and Secret Wars)
• Emma's Diamond Form is more useful now. She has some invincible frames in some attacks and now she has 3 new throws.

I could of swore Emma Frost already had a throw? Smh I believe ALL characters should have some sort of grapple move in their normal state to keep the game from being repetitive and add more things for each character to do. She only has 2 kinds of throws in her Diamond form other then that it's not much else to her. Makes her feel boring and repetitive unc.  :( *Iceman ThumbsDown!*

No, she has 3 type of grab. There is a grab special (grab then d,f+a).

I won't add grab moves for all characters, sorry.

I still think that's a mistake. But whatever lol. Well anyways i was playing and i realized that once you pause the game during the opening of the first stage several yellow lines appear on the bottom of the screen.

Its not. I want to make the characters as unique as I can. If I put the same moves or abilities for every char, it doesn't makes sense to add another playable character.
I have a quality level to keep, in all my creations. I know other creators doesn't mind about this, but I do.
