He is not french offically, neither from any other place.
The idea came from what I planned for him, since skirmish and fencing are tradition in France.

I think this fits the character perfectly. As I told before, I want to make this as unique as I can.

Last time I was part of a project here and I haven't agreed with something about that project...it didn't ended well. And don't want this happening again.

Then make him speak French.  It's not a game breaker.   ;D ;)

Maybe that will be inspirational:

Can't find video with Eril, game's pretty obscure... There were PS2 and PSP versions, won't tell you how to obtain iso, but you know, palms from paradise and hustling imp, those are good enough clues... It's faster to check game than spending time searching videos.

I remember that game, I played it a lot back on that day.

As I told before, I am working on this just in my (few) spare times. This is the complete jump animation, with that "jiggle" Capcom puts on some movements:

Naw, don't worry, just thought that remembered something helpful. Do what you need to do, it's good that you actually have spare time for this sharp guy. Heh, after saying that imagination drew him using sharping circle stone(dunno if there's a word for that).
As for jump - it came nicely done, indeed that's something you'd see in a capcom game if he were in it.

Blade Man now has 6 palletes. I tried to make each more very different, so we can have something more unique.

Yellow on blade looks bit strange, maybe lighter tone would look better :-??

I got the voices for Blade Man and they are awesome! Fits the character perfectly.
But Blade man is at the bottom of my priorities for now, since I have a lot of stuff to do.
So he will take a while to be finished - like in the end of this year maybe.

But the delay will be worthy :)

I have plans to continue this character in 2018, but I would need some help and I want to know if someone want to help me.

Basically, I need help cleaning the edges of of some animations (see his feet on this image, for example):


Maybe Laspacho wants to do it? Or any other person?

ExeLord had helped me to clean the idle animation:

OLD > NEW (features new frames I've added)


This is a character which I do WANT to finish, because I think its very original (since it doesn't uses the common Mega Man body). Dunno if ExeLord will fix all the sprites. If don't, any one who want to jump and help is welcome.

And I will avoid to post more animations of this character, since I don't want to see this character stolen.

2018 wasn't a good year for me in many aspects and I hadn't free time enough to finish this character this year.

I even thought about canceling this project but in the last few days I found the files again and I think it could be an interesting character to have in Mugen.


My motivation has been quite low in the last few months, so I thought I'd better leave this project for next year. Maybe a new year, with renewed energies, motivate me to finish this project?
