I looked through Lord Raptor and didn't see anything in particular that jumped out at me, his run forward looked sort of odd..  I
 like Venom's crawl I am going to try something similar.

I meant that he has a dash animation, in addition to a crawl with the same animation.  But yeah, go with Venom's crawl for the animation.  Raptor's is weird.

You may want to fix the shading on the Search Snake projectiles, but aside that, Snake Man's looking good.  8)

or is there different light punches depending on what angle the opponent is on?

It's a upward swinging type punch.  I'm trying to come up with something a little different for each punch if I can.   ;D

Love the light punch, and I agree make each attack different and unique. This is a character I want to see stand out from the rest.

but in the second screenshot his helmet seems to be pointy, was that intentional?

I was trying to make the head at a different angle.  It came out somewhat pointy since it was the back of the snake on his head.  If it it's still not shaped right I can always play with the angle more..

.... me and another guy was working on him a while back and he made an amazing stance where almost every part of his body moves...including his helmet close and opens...I think he is a Ifinity Team Memeber but I dont remeber his name
