i hope to god this comes out for wii, seeing as thats the only next-gen system i have. i dont wanna have to buy an xbox or ps3 to play it. its duobtful though, seeing as the only street fighter that came out for gamecube was CvS 2, and N64 didn't have any.

Guys remember this is nowhere near finished and as I said, Ken's face looks like that because of the angle, sometimes Marcus Fenix's Face looks 64ish in Pics too and Gears of Wars is one of the best looking games ever.

His portrait in the game has a fro, but in gameplay his hair looks normal.  It'd be pretty sweet if there was a edit of Violent Ken with a fro. 
I hope Violent Ken makes it in SF4. Although he probably won't since he was made only for SvC. Although perhaps the game could be hacked to have him. Ha, I wonder if Dan will make a appearance. I definitely would like to see Gouken in the game. I'm really just wishing they would make a custom character creator like MK: Armageddon.
I mean, making my own shoto would be awesome!

From all the info that is coming out it seems like this is gonna be the true sequel to SF2 that I've been waiting for. I'm one those people that was just plain disappointed with SF3 and I'm quite happy that so far that this game is becoming more SF2ish. The only thing that would make even happier is if Capcom made Darkstalkers 4 since thats my series of choice. Now I just hope they bring back Blanka....come on Capcom give me back my fav brazilian mutant.

Uhh dude. It's not even being created by the same team as the SF EX series. 
Who is currently in charge of Street Fighter Series? Capcom of America.
Who was in charge of SF back in the SF EX days? Capcom of Japan.
It may say Capcom, but each big name company like Capcom is made up of it's own individual companies.
Street Fighter after the Alpha series wasn't doing too well which is why they stopped making SF games. I honestly think CoA is better to run SF because they know where the money was made. They started out with HD SF2, and now they're making SF4. They know the old school is better which is why they're using a cel shaded mix in the first place rather then going full 3d character models like SFEX.
On another note, SF EX wasn't even being made completely by Capcom of Japan, half of it was filled with crap by Akira. If you're going to blame anyone for the SFEX series for sucking, blame Capcom of Japan for hiring Akira.

SF4 is being made by a completely different team, I'm sure they won't mess up. Since they're long time rival is SNK, I'm sure they will borrow things from KOF Maximum Impact 2 to make the game better.
Whenever Gamestop is taking reservations, I'm going to reserve SF4 asap.

Edit: @ Teros: I don't think it's going to be a prequel to SF3, because well the trailer analysis said that they look older and imo, they look older than they do in SF3. Although if it is a prequel, they might bring in Yun and Yang, because I remember Yang was playable in one of the rehashes of SFA3 (which is the prequel to SF2). They also might tell why Gouki is good, and how Ken met Sean. You know, a game that tells how things happened. SF3 just kind of threw things out in the open, like What if Ken was some kids sensei and had a kid with Eliza, then they just brought in characters like Remy, Q, Alex rather randomly.

December 6, 2007 - Capcom officially announced that Street Fighter IV is in development and provided new details about the long-awaited next installment in the fighting series.

Four Street Fighter favorites - Ryu, Ken, Chun-Li, and Dhalsim – will return, and new moves, locations and gameplay elements are in the works. The game will be rendered in 3D and played in the classic Street Fighter 2D perspective with additional 3D camera elements. The traditional six-button controls for the game will return alongside some new input features.

Street Fighter IV is the first new game announcement for the series in almost eight years (Street Fighter III Third Strike) and 10 years since the last numbered game in the series (Street Fighter III). We'll have more info on Capcom's latest fighter as development moves along.

AWWWWW HELL NAWH! they just redid SF2 as 3D and cell shaded.  thats not worth going to get a next gen console. Not even a used one. Granted they may have a new fight system but that is a major dissapointment. I love Capcom but they really need to step it up when it comes to SF.
